the biggest difference the untamed has compared to word of honor is how subtle TU was. LWJ and WWX may not speak words to each other but through their eyes and actions, you know that they were in love. In short, you can feel that something's going on between them without them imposing it. You just know. While in word of honor, the characters are so bold. Its like the show doesn't even deny the fact that this is BL despite the censorship. the entire show is literally saying "fuck you" to the censorship lmaoo
Being a fan of the novel and having read it, I'm really happy how this truned out to be. It exceeded all my expectations. And they actually put the cutting the sleeve part. It's a pure perfection and somehow the censorship made the flirting more interesting.

ZZH has great acting skill. His character is more low key than WKX, yet he still manages to express his feelings from his eyes. Overall, both are great.
It's kind of amazing how well he's able to express emotion through that prosthetic. It becomes really obvious when he takes it off. His face becomes so expressive.

And both of men (based on one of the powerful figure in pugilists world by the novel) are the “rare” gem of martial artists. And both of them are smart. That’s why both men felt that they have known each other for a very long time before. WKX already figure out Who is ZZS. And ZZS has already have some thought who is WKX. They just silently hold it until they 100% confirmed.

WKX's hallucination and his fond and sincere smile after he found out the sick dude is really ZZS really brings a mystery and realization to WKX's past. It seems WKX's past with ZZS really runs deep, deeper than we think, that it made WKX keeps him in his deep memory. Now that he meet ZZS again, it brings out the determination in him to figure out who the sick dude is, then after Zhou Zi Shu reveals himself, he allows himself to follow ZZS to wherever he goes as he wants to keep this man in his life. ZZS is like his light, he brings out the human side of WKX that WKX has been hidden, in his deepest core for so long, so he doesn't want to lose this light again. In return, WKX brings ZZS back to his darkness, to the path where he regrets the most. As WKX is slowly showing ZZS, his inner darkness, as seen in the present episodes 15-16, but the first time ZZS began to witness it, was in episode 9, we could see that ZZS is trying to get away, getting out of that path, but whenever he wants to escape it, WKX brings it back. Then we see that in episodes 16-17, instead of getting away from his past, he decides to just let that in because even if he wants to escape, WKX will always follow him, so it's a metaphor telling us that no matter how you want to escape, your past will always follow you no matter where you go. So there, we can see that since he can't escape, then he'll just face it forward and let his darkness surface in one way or another, as we see ZZS is letting WKX in that means he's willing to let WKX see his darkest past, that means he's beginning to open himself up to him as he also want WKX to open his heart to him as well. I love this show so much. Untamed and Word of Honor is the best Live Action. Also, stop comparing Untamed and Word of Honour. The whole pointed of Lan Zhan and Wei Ying relationship is heavy on subtext but Wen Kexing is all about straight forward flirting to Zhou Zishu.

ZZH has great acting skill. His character is more low key than WKX, yet he still manages to express his feelings from his eyes. Overall, both are great.
It's kind of amazing how well he's able to express emotion through that prosthetic. It becomes really obvious when he takes it off. His face becomes so expressive.

Since this is based on a novel it's obvious that most of the viewers are going to be fans of the novel, however seeing how much popularity and attention it has received it's no surprise that it will attract even more people. I'm just saying that we should be considerate of new viewers that are unaware of the story and try not to spoil anything in the plot as it isn't "ACTUALLY" revealed so far in the drama that he's the valley master...

Yes, he knows Zhou Zi Shu in his past before he became the Master of Ghost Valley. Then the next episode confirms that. He treasures this past (his childhood) with ZZS, so ZZS became a part of his mind.
WKX already know who is Zhou Xu real name. That’s why upon the incense drug, he say ZZS real name. WKX never met ZZS before. They just two wanderers who happened met by fate. And both of men (based on one of the powerful figure in pugilists world by the novel) are the “rare” gem of martial artists.
And both of them are smart. That’s why both men felt that they have known each other for a very long time before.
WKX already figure out Who is ZZS. And ZZS has already have some thought who is WKX. They just silently hold it until they 100% confirmed.

@@myracat I don't think ZZS has a younger brother, and I also don't think it was his junior brother as well. It could be him and WKX, who knows? WKX's hallucination and his fond and sincere smile after he found out the sick dude is really ZZS really brings a mystery and realization to WKX's past. It seems WKX's past with ZZS really runs deep, deeper than we think, that it made WKX keeps him in his deep memory. Now that he meet ZZS again, it brings out the determination in him to figure out who the sick dude is, then after Zhou Zi Shu reveals himself, he allows himself to follow ZZS to wherever he goes as he wants to keep this man in his life. ZZS is like his light, he brings out the human side of WKX that WKX has been hidden, in his deepest core for so long, so he doesn't want to lose this light again.
In return, WKX brings ZZS back to his darkness, to the path where he regrets the most. As WKX is slowly showing ZZS, his inner darkness, as seen in the present episodes 15-16, but the first time ZZS began to witness it, was in episode 9, we could see that ZZS is trying to get away, getting out of that path, but whenever he wants to escape it, WKX brings it back. Then we see that in episodes 16-17, instead of getting away from his past, he decides to just let that in because even if he wants to escape, WKX will always follow him, so it's a metaphor telling us that no matter how you want to escape, your past will always follow you no matter where you go. So there, we can see that since he can't escape, then he'll just face it forward and let his darkness surface in one way or another, as we see ZZS is letting WKX in that means he's willing to let WKX see his darkest past, that means he's beginning to open himself up to him as he also want WKX to open his heart to him as well.

I love this show so much. Untamed and Word of Honor is the best Live Action. Also, stop comparing Untamed and Word of Honour. The whole pointed of Lan Zhan and Wei Ying relationship is heavy on subtext but Wen Kexing is all about straight forward flirting to Zhou Zishu.
