For those asking about the ending: it's very common in getter stories to talk about multi universes. At the end we see all kinds of getter teams fighting, and ryoma and his team decide to join the fight since their earth is now saved.
not quite, the ending just sho that the story of this show is one of many, all of wich end up with the birth of Getter Emperor, and the demise of the universe at his hand, the "main" story, the one shown in the manga, is the one in wich Ryoma tries to avoid this chain of events, and prevent the birth of Getter Emperor, at least i think this is here the manga was getting at, if it wasn't discontinued. Of course this is just my personal interpretation.

In Getter Arc (the last manga by Ken Ishikawa) showed Shin Dragon rupturing from the Earth as the Getter arc was about to be destroyed. Eventually no matter what Getter Emperor will be born. In the Getter anthology mini series there are some chapters showcasing more about what the emperor is and it's purpose.

Than you'll definitely like Dai Guard it's basically the Anti-Evangelion where instead of realistic portrayal(if you would call it that) of a character in a mecha series while having the usual tropes on the Mech, the Mech is portrayed realistically while the characters are the usual tropes
big red indian with a shinku tatsumaki and a scythe tomahawk, thats Ondtashau Nokannawai alright, so is black getter.... twins that tell the king.. that wind fire crow stuff... he's also domon kasshu, judau ashta, casshan robot hunter, karas otoha, big o, tosho daimos, ryu hayabusa, md geist, sunstreaker, hotrod, zenon gundam, rockman x and zero, triton, xardion, ryo of wildfire, forge from x force, spirit gi joe, bravestar, orion pax, red and blue ring link, .... all that stuff and alot more
Damn things move far too quickly. There's no sense of weight to them. Thanks to the square cube law, you're talking about mecha that would weigh hundreds of tons. The old Getter Robo G series did it far better and more believably. This is just too floaty and flashy.
What a fucking badass series, absolutely epic! I just finished watching it yesterday, and I feel like watching it again this week!
