ThyssenKrupp High Speed Glass Traction Elevator at an Housing Estate in İstanbul, Turkey

  • These buildings are situated at the heart of the financial district of İstanbul.
    There are 10 buildings at the complex. Each of them has 33 floors and 5 underground parking floors. There are 6 elevators on each building. 1 Glass elevator, 4 Non-Glass passenger elevators and 1 service elevator. Glass elevator serves floor Z(0) to 29. Non-Glass elevators serves floor -5 to 31. Service elevator serves floor -5 to 33. At the 29th floor there are penthouses. All of the elevators have ThyssenKrupp Step fixtures.

      How about the non-glass ones?

      A bit better but still slow.
      Expected something like 3 or 4 m/s.

    Are the 3 key holes locked off floors?
    Anyhow great quality for a video from 2000!

      I think so but i'm not sure. There are penthouses on these floors. Btw the video is shot and uploaded in 2014.

      There indicator has a calendar below and I was wondering could that really be 2000? Guess not lol
