  • In a spot where two valleys meet, lots of wildlife travel through. In a rare instant, a bull moose and a bull elk met head on. Watch how they worked it out.

This is so rare. Two members of the deer family meet face to face. Two cousins seeing each other the first time. I thought they were going to spar, but they just walk away peacefully.

That instinct that animals have. A young bull moose and a veteran bull elk. Young bull moose didn’t want that smoke.

New sub. Great footage. The titled encounter did not go down as I thought it would. After watching it I suspect the young boost is used to losing, so instead of sizing up bodies he was intimidated. Just guessing.

Yeah, I swear it almost looks like he was limping a bit at first. Maybe it got a little hurt while fighting.

A great example for modern man, the juvenile moose even much larger steps aside in respect and fear to the elder elk, a veteran of many battles. In todays society little respect is shown to the elders, why ? Corruption seems to be rampant among illegitimate leaders, man can learn much from nature, especially so when we respect our Creature😉

Respect is earned. Just because you’re old doesn’t give you the right to respect if you don’t show it back.

Physical characteristics. You learn to get pretty good approximations of age when you study an animal. There are even charts that can be had, or at least they could be had back in the day. They probably still have some around.
