Hey so I got the same kit in my 87 Chevy c10, but seems like the speed, rpm and fuel capacity, etc, aren’t working, but they’re turned on fine, like the Speedometer stays @ 0 MPH when driving, does anyone know how to get this fixed and running good?🙏🏾
I looked at the reviews for those, have you used them in the past and how do they hold up? Because the reviews I’ve seen make me want to look for something else but being on a budget sucks
If I had the money I'd go Dakota too. But if you ground correctly, don't cross speedo with anything (I ran mine up thru the center hump in the inside up under carpet to heater and up and actually did same with oil wire) they ought to cause no problems. Personally I messed up trimming and trimming and ruining my housing trying to get the 4 little guages perfectly lined up. Had to get another from junkyard. Ended up buying red plexiglass for the lenses and not using their smoked glass. I have white guages and too bright. But all mine have been in for a year plus....no issues. Calibrated speedo with no problems, running 35s with 6 inch lift on a 76 gmc sierra grande.
I had 3 pinks and one red. I've got the pinks to 12v key. I think the red is supposed to go to 12v constant....I never have ran that red wire. Seems ok without it connected. Instructions were vague at best mentioning red vs pink and nothing about having both colored wires
Intellitronix gauges are garbage and so is the technical support. 350 bucks for something I can't get any mechanic in town to touch and the 'customer support' at the company doesn't even bother to respond if you email or call them for help. 7 wires come out of the new gauge, 20-some exist in the factory dash with no documentation anywhere about how to wire the thing up. Also, it the kit was missing the speed sensor and the water and oil sensors that it did come with were the wrong ones. No word back on getting those replaced either. Unless you know exactly which wires do what in the year and make of your vehicle, its impossible to install the thing, and thats if you get lucky and they put the right replacement sensors in the box to begin with.
Man you’re a life saver. I just finished one for my 77 c10

Do you know where I can find cluster gauges at for a 86 Pontiac Grand Prix?
I am doing this on a 93 wrangler. Can I just use the factory speed sensor and just tap into the wire harness at the dash?

Great video, but where’s part two?
Dis you connect all of the different grounds together like you did the power wires?
Yes sorry for the late response.
Can this go in any cluster? I mean, of course if the gauges are the right size.
Could you drop a link to where you got the plugs to wire it up?
They ran out.. but you can find some pretty close to the same on Amazon

I've read the reviews as well. Not so good. What did you go with?
