Having said that, I tried reconditioning them and it took me less than an hour to acheive it! No matter what type of battery you like, the procedure will work.
Nice, as simple as it was, my battery door stuck and battery coming out stuck, but you were able to confirm it was doable and now I do not need to buy a new one.. Thanks.

I plugged mine in today and when I turned it on, red light was blinking and there was a continuous beeping sound. Does that mean the battery is dead and I need to replace it? Thanks!
I had some old apc 600va units, upgraded those with 20Ah ebike batteries and this unit in the video i replaced the battery with the old 7ah batteries linked together combined of 21Ah now... Tested them yesterday and got 3 hours of movies out of the backup

If it tells you to replace your battery, all it means is it’s drained. Just get a car 12v float battery charger ($3) and charge it over night and it’ll work like brand new. You can also use any car battery charger. I do it all the time.
Nonsense. All batteries wear out. UPSes have chargers built in, to recharge after an outage and to maintain the charge. If the battery won't hold a charge, using a car charger won't do a thing.
Could you please tell me how long does it run using the battery without turning off? I had the APC ES 350 (BE350G-LM), but it turns off every 1 hour, even with plenty of charge remaining, so I had to return it. I would like to buy this model if it doesn't have this time limitation

Apc's website tells me to get an rbc110......... which is the wrong size as my battery from my es 550 is 65mmX94mmX151mm like the battery you said to use, but what they listed 65mmX151mmX105mm (also it's annoying that apc doesn't measure height width and depth the same way on all batteries even if the picture is oriented the same way) You'd think apc would know what of their own batteries fits in their own damn product, apparently they don't. Thanks for confusing me and making me measure my battery instead of just believing what is on their website.

@@fahhcue I got mines out all I did was shaked it facing down on my bed and kept pulling it and it felt out. I just couldn't get the cable out cause it stuck on there real good👍
Mine were stuck tightly as well, but it was either get them off or trash the whole thing since it wasn't working. I thought I would break it, too, but finally they came off. Just pull parallel with the battery as he shows, not up.
Hi I have just changed my battery on the 550. Now when it is plugged into the electricity it has a continuous beep and no flashing led, just the green one not flashing. Beep stops when I unplug it from electricity. What should I do?

I replaced the battery with a smalle one. Works fine. IF YOUR UNIT GOES BEEP BEEP,it may have popped a fuse!!! There are 2 fuses inside.When the fuses blow,the red light comes on and says to replace battery. WRONG!!!!

94mm meas the height exclude the terminal. 105mm means the box height plus terminal height. Therefore, it's possibly identical between them.

You can use a deep cycle battery. Wire it in externally. The replacement batteries are expensive.

Si tienes la luz roja significa que tienes re re-emplazar la bateria; si ya la has remplazado entonces tu nueva bateria puede tener un defecto.

where did you find the fuses? I will take a look at mine but it is very old with original battery.
