Starting off my vacation off work with some 1983 jams. I remember break dancing on a piece of cardboard at school. Yeah baby. I still pump this jam in my car. My kids just lol and tell me i'm too old to pump some music LOL
I was from that era......on Sunset Blvd, Fatlip, Club Unity, Project Blowed, Goodlife Cafe, Uncle Jams Army, L.A. Dream Team and so much more..... L.A. circa 1980's & the 1990's
Got my ticket to go back to a time where music was better, times were better and.. ...People were having fun, unlike today where it's all about drugs, currency, disrespecting women in videos.
Nice tune, i use to rock this on the tables back in the days..till the day i still throw down on the electro mixes..hey cammoroom i remember dog talk..KDAY was the shit huh..good times
Hi the track you are looking for is here - the one you are referring to is on the b-side. You should also check Chuck Chill Out - Hip Hop on Wax 1 which was the first to be released. Red Alert was the second: Came out around 83/84 D.J. Red Alert* - Hip Hop On Wax Volume 2
Electro is the best music EVER. And today just sucks in comparison. No-one can lay a classic b--line anymore. To much sampling not enough original creativiity. Love this track one of my top ten faves. Along with Planet rock and Jam on it. And dont stop the rock. And the return of Captain rock. Oh man they just cant do this anymore.
@leakeg No, not all. This type of music from the early 80's had a similar beat because this is what we used to break-dance and pop-lock to... This was never thought to be a rip-off nor did anyone think it sounded similar to any other sound/song of that time...I was from a crew called "The Electric Boogie Crew" based in LA and Pasadena, Ca.
@Nugene777 tell me about im 19 and these fckers only jam 2 the radio or whatever comes out on t.v. thank god im from a niegborhood where we pop locked and breakdanced and we still do.WEST 28 4 LIFE

This was very similar to NWA Panic Zone 1987 so what I think that’s where they got the beat
This "groove" came out N' 83-84
@LouR101 Actually I think this song and Planet Rock use the same drum machine or sampler, AND have a similar beat, which is why they sound so similar.
