The only issue with this song is it completely upstages everything after it. This is probably due to the apparent fact that Kobayashi was asked to compose this at the last minute because this fight didn't feel epic enough. But whatever the reason, we still got it.. and that's good enough for me.
I also love Rescue because while most of it is pretty simple, the end but is legitimately one of the most inspiring and uplifting tunes I have ever heard in a game Another one I love is Archange, because it starts off ominous and then threatening, before switching to being heroic and grand One last mention is ADFX-10 because it's so tense and that crescendo at the end sounds so menacing and intimidating
don't get me wrong, Doom Eternal soundtrack is good, but putting NFS Heat of all games to 2020 Steam Awards' best soundtrack category instead of better deserving games Ace Combat & Project Wingman makes what happened in June 6 1995 and Prospero looked sane by comparison And it pretty much made me stopped bothering with any kind of video game awards in general
@@Boss_Fight_Index_mukiNFS Heat Soundtrack is a complete insult to the racing game genre right next to NFS Unbound soundtrack, and how tf it even get nominated on Steam Awards made me question how could Steam being this out of touch on their own Awards contest And the only way you'll changing my mind about Heat & Unbound soundtrack is to step over my dead body, 'cause I won't
Had to check, hadn't heard of Project Wingman before. So it's an Ace Combat indie tribute game, good heads up. "Kings" sounds like a final mission theme.
@@Boss_Fight_Index_muki IS the final mission theme but it has more in cohesion with the ace combat zero game, specifically with the final boss theme and what it reprents each song, but as a stand alone song I really love it
Kings is great all around, but the part I always listen to is the very intro It starts off so soul-crushing and depressing and you get this sense of agony, horror, disgust, and pure, unadulterated hatred, which makes sense given that the boss fight plays after Crimson 1 has done something unspeakably and monumentally horrible
Daredevil from AC7, Zero from ACZ and Kings from PW do be hitting different, all sounds so good as boss fight music
Zero's absurd! You'd think flamenco guitar wouldn't work in a game like that. There's a cover of it by a gypsy guitarist, it's ludicrous.

Yeah, definitely. The 2 other pieces that can match it, personally, is Awakening and Charge Assault. Those are the 3 best pieces.

Just check out the NFS Heat ost, it's okay but just a bunch of pop songs. How it got best ost is a mystery.

nah, kings from project wingman is better

Its a great theme but definitely not the best in the series. Each game prior except AH had a better boss theme.
