I don't understand the lawyer's line of questioning. As a trial lawyer, you don't ask the witness "Did I read that right?"
When he says Yes, it only means that you read right. It doesn't mean the witness is agreeing to the contents of the statement being read out.
The defense isn't trying to do fact finding here. They're just trying to get as much damage done on Johnny as possible. They know their case is weak, so they're trying to paint a picture of Johnny. They wanna get a certain image into the minds of the jury.
They're scraping the bottom of the barrel. The defense that is. They know the world and especially the jury see her crazy eyes.
i agree the issue is whether he in fact said/ sent that or not , not whether he read it correctly . the line questioning should hv been again from you phone a text to X where you say ABC, did you send that text to X as indicated on that date on or about that time ? Then you you said .....in that text exchange , is that true ? nothing has been altered ? .....

He’s not denying doing anything, he’s simply saying that amber heard was just as involved in partaking as he was. Bringing up that she asked for it doesn’t make it seem like he did nothing, he’s just trying to make it clear that she was just as involved. If you’re going to try and make someone out to be a drug addict in court (which he admits) you shouldn’t be doing the same. She’s no better than him. They both hit each other. They were in a toxic ass relationship. We get it. The trial is about defamation not who did drugs.

This attorney is a prime example why the court system is a joke. There is no seeking the truth, only creating lies to fit a narrative they need to prosecute. This guy should be disbarred, and made an example of. Amber, should be jailed and fined every penny she has to her name.

JD expert witness was extremely accurate Amber was a predator of good natured people. Thats what she wants but her nature doesnt mesh with it. Thats when anger tilts. DV redflags are the going through phones for no clear reasons, secret recordings, double standards of relationship boundaries etc. Took 30 years for me to find my wife lol. JD like a lot of people praised his mother for her strength. But we see the pain they endured which unfortunately makes us wonder into situational disaster people like Amber who appear as a sheep but with all the planning was a shark....not a wolf a land walking whole shark lol. A wolf would be a godsend but this is a sophisticated advanced shark lol . she without effort threw his kids in it his parents his deceased bodyguard who noted her behavior . She is able to stand in front of a room of peers and state these things like its nothing. Imagine how sitting at home with someone who could lie and be cut throat real time infront of millions of people.... At home I can understand why he fell into the drug dependency. He saw his mother or traits of it and wanted to fix it . Women and men do this when they are genuinely good people. We fall in love with a idea but not the entirety of that individual. The cost is huge for us though. If a woman ran into the male version of Amber it would look much worse if anything . Its why I hate it became a gender agenda push. It's so crazy how Johnny Depp can be a complete junkie without any kind of judgement from society.
Well, there are countless millions taking various drugs- alcohol, cigarettes, medication...- as well as illegal ones. Society does condemn and punish use of certain substances. Anyway, this is about abuse of another person and defamation.
I'm pretty sure he's been judged for years on that. The point is he's not on trial for drug abuse, he's not on trial at all, he's there to prove he didn't abuse HER. They both used loads of drugs, together and separately, like most of Hollywood. She is making a huge deal out of his drug use when she was using the same drugs! How can you expect your addict husband to get clean while drinking copious amounts of wine around him and taking xanax, coke and E? Also, he shouldn't be judged for being a "junkie" he's an addict, a real illness. You can say it's not, but it is, for a fact. It's been recognised for years now as a proper mental illness. Why do we judge people for this specific illness but every other mental health condition isn't to be shamed over? You can say he chose to use drugs knowing he could become addicted but that applies to absolutely everyone who has ever touched the most addictive and dangerous drug there is (alcohol). Many people drink alcohol and don't become addicted, many do. It's the exact same thing. Alcohol and benzo withdrawal can be fatal, yet alcohol is sold in nearly every shop and doctors give out benzos like sweets creating people who are then dependent on them.

By the moment the judge allows him to answer an speculative question, you have to realize the the "drug thing" will have weight over her judgement.
Judges like to judge guilty because of drugs, independently of any proofs. Write what I say.

Wanna know a secret? _Everyone_ who abuses drugs is “in bad bad shape” when they run out. They either get back in good shape or get more of the same temporary fix. Amber seems to be in real bad shape here, hence the alleged alcohol and cocaine use in court. I can’t personally say I wouldn’t try to bring something in, or take an edible beforehand, because I’m just one of those “knows what’s bad, does it a little anyway” people admittedly, as far as THC were to go anyway back when it was illegal. Johnny could very well be on something in this clip, especially when he got hung up trying to think of a word for “happy”, but drug culture will never suddenly reverse and become less prevalent. Therefore more and more people are becoming high functioning drug users because their bodies and brains are given no choice but to adapt. Someone like Johnny probably knows this, which is why he’s able to be so open about it. Try, just try, to ask Amber why she uses, and you’ll get some irrelevant story about her grandfather’s pet fish. That’s the kind of behavior we at my office call “helpless”. If they don’t want help, they’ll lie until they’re left alone.
