Lillia is the obvious best one but I do quite like Soraka’s one as well. The rhino beetle design for the horn is a nice touch
i like tristana's splash art and weapon, but not the rest of the model
I personally enjoy Tristana because it's a Tinkerer Fairy.
Fairies making lil hodge-podge canons out of everyday nick-nacks and it being surprisingly functional.
It's a nice little thematic that fits this universe rather well.
Never been sadder for something i didn't even know i lost, Gonna miss Tart making skins those ones he made were one of my favorites specially soul fighter Gwen.

A wierd pet peeve I have in Lux skins is when the staff isn't symmetrical😞. Like it's one of the only unique things about her and when it's removed (Crystal Rose, Battle Academia) it makes her really hard to recognize😢.

1:38 soraka and fiora are actually the spring faeries (you can see some snow in soraka's recall cuz winter is ending >:3). lux, ezreal, and seraphine are the summer faeries which makes sense since they have a more warm and tropical color palette :>
i think his point was surely green and pink should have been the spring theme? since the whole vibe of spring is plants reblooming and the season where plants grow more plentiful.
white and blue just makes no sense for spring when pink and green make perfect sense 😭
@@welkin7321 yeahhh thats true white, blue, and purple doesnt scream spring at all. but personally i think the colors they did for summer is perfect but that's just cuz i grew up in South East Asia so i naturally associated the greens and pinks with the lotus and lilypads with a humid or tropical season.
but yeah i think more pink for spring would've been nice at least and there are other tropical colors that could've been used instead of pink >:3

I've been overall so desentized with skins in general. The only ones that I can get excited about nowadays are the ones which provide lore nods or the ones given to a champ which only gets a skin every blue moon.

I had to double back to see the Crow of Judgement, I saw something was off but it went by so fast i didn't see what it was.
So far I've only really been a fan of the Autumn and Winter faerie court skins (maybe due to their comparative scarcity). The Spring and Summer look so stock standard to me. The only one that really stood out to me is Karma, and that's likely just because she's a legendary.

I LOVED the first round of faerie court skins, I bought three of them, but I am sad to see that Soraka is covered in colors I don’t like that much haha but I love the designs :) kinda happy I don’t play the champs I like the skins for so I don’t wanna buy them lol
Imma be honest, you should do ultra rapid fire skin review of Infernal and/or just pick a different topic. Maybe an ASU Lee Sin skin review? Maybe one of your favorite champs or skinlines?
I think the problem of Ez Q and Lux Q looking similar is that they are a common botlane combo and a lux Q can be fatal where an Ezreal Q is poke.

I honestly love the lux skin. I dont have the other stuff it aparently copies!!! The butterflies are cute as shit!!! And it has a big pink flower and wings when she ults!!! I dont buy skins at full price but i will most likely deff get it on its sale in a few months cuz its adorable 😭

I do think it could've been better for lux to be the summer and soraka be spring faeries so they can embody the season more ability-wise (the light being a summer hot sun kinda vibe, with healing being life in spring)
Edit: TY for the people correcting me initial judgment. The previous iterations of the skinline kinda broke my understanding of the whole concept. Though, i still think the differencing of the seasons are still executed in a kind of blurry way
Lux is the Summer fairy and Soraka is the Spring one...
Summer is the generic stock fairy design. Spring has the bolder rainier colors.

If you wanna know the lore of this skin series. it's quite simple: "fairies or faeries? Yes."
On top of the lux debacle, I did notice Tristana's cannon's base model appears quite similar to the cauldron from her Bewitching skin, but otherwise I've always loved the IDEA of the fae court more than the execution. Maybe it's because of the recent year of study I've done about fae for a book I wanted to write, or maybe it's because a good number of me and my friends' favorite champions would have made PERFECT fits for the series and got snubbed for characters I couldn't fathom the inclusion of, but I really feel like they're not getting the most out of this skinline that they could be. Much like the Porcelain skinline this all just mostly feels like waste potential. Milio, Lux, Soraka, Karma and Lilia were perfect fits for the series, but Tristana over Lulu or Veigar (Assuming the elderwood series doesn't ALSO take place in this world, TOO) and Fiora, Katarina, and Ezreal in the place of Aatrox, Fiddlesticks, or Morgana (for unseely court activity) and Janna, Kayle, or Kai'sa (if they REALLY wanted their precious popular picks quota hit), or even Taric.

I'll be honest, I care about Lux's face having more Seraphine features in her splash than anything to do with the reused spells. She's not 1-to-1 with the initial skinline concept art, but she's exactly what she needs to be to fulfill the skin's fantasy. As such, I love the skin and people are complaining over next to nothing.
Besides, how many people know that Festival Queen Anivia reuses the same egg ressurection animation as Blackfrost? Those skins are 5+ years old, released back to back on the champ, and it's the same ideas as the Porcelain to Fairy Court flower ult. Where were these types of complaints when Ezreal used an alternative ult wind up for like 3 skins in a row? Riot reuses assets all the time. People only seem to notice this when it's like the tree that showed up in Spirit Blossom stuff and Morgana's Snow Moon recall etc. Plus, this is the complaint from the same timeline where we got Pajama Guardians. Hello? That's the exact same spells but with different models. If you had one, the other was offered as a discount. That was literally reused assets resold, but it's still worth an epic skin since it's a new model and spells from the base skin fantasy.
I do wonder long term for skin quality, but I care way for for skinline consistency instead of Riot overdesigning a patch of skins and ruining the aesthetic forever.

the lux flower ult suits faerie court way better than porcelain and also i hate the porcelain skins btw. also i love faerie court. my favorite so far has been kalista followed by karma. more plz
