- For the first time in a while, I spent two consecutive holidays doing only what I wanted to do.
The time I spend embroidering for myself is the most fun ♡
It may look like I'm embroidering all the time in the video, but I take a break for lunch and snacks 🤭🍩
This time I embroidered a family crest called ``Changing Cherry Blossoms''.
This episode made me realize that when embroidering a ``symmetrical'' family crest, you have to be careful about the sketch.
I think the finished embroidery is cute and gorgeous, except for the distortion ☺️

thank you! When I was embroidering, I had to look at it carefully, so I was worried about the distortion 😵
I use a little starch glue to secure the embroidery.
When doing a project like this, where you have to cover over part of the sketch, how do you tell where to put those elements in? Is it all just examining it with the reference in front of you? Do you use a different method when the project is larger, like aligning it with a projection of the design?

Is this an embroidery method when the sketch is hidden by thread and cannot be seen? You're right. I decide the position based on the design. Or, look under the thread to find the sketch. It's a very difficult task.
