I agree! I also think the majority of performances over sang… they seemed stiff and forced… to me, the others were cringe. Lila, is doing a very nice job
I love Huntley's rocker voice, I love Ruby's country voice, and I love Mara's voice. Of all the artists this season though, LILA is the only one I would pay to hear. I absolutely love her tone, her style, her whole vibe! I will definitely buy her music. I hope she wins!!!
Lila is such an amazing storyteller in music. She has such a beautiful voice, amazing range, and incredible artistry. She sings this song as if it were her own. So wonderful.
Everyone likes to say someone sounds like some famous artist. Lila sounds like Lila and not anyone else. That is the greatest compliment anyone could get.
Her voice is pure and light. She sings effortlessly because she knows herself. No roaring but beautifully tells a story with her song. Definitely can ID her voice on radio. A real talent. Hope people in the industry see this.

She pulled me right into the song, feels so authentic on the lyrics. She kinda makes love to the song. Such a pleasing tone and fluid delivery. This really sets a mood, all warm and nostalgic.
She is amazing. Her grandparents were close friends of my parents. I babysat her Dad and Aunt. We lived one street over growing up in CT. Such a beautiful family. I voted her and so hope she makes it through tonight. She embodies the singer/songwriter genre.
Something special about her is that there are SO many songs I can think of that she could nail, in various genres. ( Used to be mine, Big Yellow Taxi, Zombie, Hotline Bling, etc) but you just know that they would all be sung in her own personal style.
From the first line... The thing about Lila is in EVERY single perdormance, you dont need much of an imagination. She immediately places you where the song is. Whether in a cafe, a teibute concert, in a cabin in the mountains... doesnt matter. She places you in the movie! Amazing job and love the run risk she took in this song. Without looking at the video, I could tell she sounded different for the 2nd verse, and i looked and she came from behind the piano lol. Love this girl!
WOW! What an incredible voice! My husband tuned in to The Voice last night and I heard (from the kitchen) a few artists sing and when I heard the first line Lila Forde sang I was mesmerized and pulled into this beautiful story she was telling. Tbh we don’t regularly watch The Voice and I couldn’t tell you who the other performers were that I heard or what songs they did. I actually had to listen to the original by Indigo Girls after and I love this cover more! Thank you Lila!!

She's my winner this year. No screams, no overuse of runs or vocal demonstration (hey Nina Iris), just pure storytelling and emotions. Unlike others, she's not just a singer, she's an artist
