Eggnog is the "TRUE" MVP of the team. It shrugs off three consecutive poisons like it was nothing and clean-swept Byron's gym which it was supposedly weak to. The best part was when Ina asks if it's ready to evolve and it nodded in response. Eggnog has come a long way and gone through such great character development. I can't wait to see him hopefully own Cynthia's Garchomp (if Ina decided to use him against her).

Do you ever think how weird it is for a pokemon with limbs to evolve into one without them? Like, "I sure do love being able to hold things! Oh!? Evolution took away my hands? Ok..."
It probably just loses its arms to be able to fly better or something. Other pokemon also lose some of their limbs when they evolve for no reason (graveler, servine)

Back when Gen2 just came out, the first time I saw Togetic it was as a figurine, lined up with Lugia, making them look like they belonged to the same evo line. I'm still kind of bummed that's not the case - but they later did a good job with Togekiss at least.

After the Fairy Update tho, Togekiss became the Must have pokemon even if you already have the basic flyer. Thats just how OP Fairy type is, especially Togekiss with high Max Stats.
There's a difference between Story Walkthroughs and Competitive Online Battles. Togekiss is the better all-rounder when it comes to competitive due to that insane Paraflinch Serene Grace, however, in game walkthroughs, Staraptor still ends battles faster due to having higher base speed and has access to both Brave Bird, Close Combat which are both 120 BP moves, and Return gets STAB.
I think that the only reason some people find Staraptor preferable is that it’s available earlier and it evolves by level up and not by friendship and a stone (that you also have to compete with who you give it to if you also plan on using Roserade as the Shiny stone is very rare in Sinnoh and you have to wait a long time to get it). Arguably though I think that Togekiss is the better between Staraptor and it since Staraptor doesn’t have that much support capability or team value besides be fast and hit things (brave bird makes it fragile too), Togekiss can do a lot more by being Tanky and having a wide movepool on both offensive and defensive.
I love how happy Togekiss makes her :) Togepi’s line have always been in my top fav Pokémon since I first played Silver version when I was only a few years old
