I can't tell exactly why I love this stitch, but I do. It seems so easily wonderful to stitch a large area, but it can be used when the stitches are not side by side. Maybe the brick look when it's close together appeals to me. TFS!
What I really like is that this technique is really fast! You can also play with the layout of couching-make it brick, diagonal, vertical stripes, or diamond shapes.
