It is all relative to where you are from...but, we tend to get about a week's worth of snow each year. As a general rule, we tend to have a day or two of snowfall followed by several days of snow/icy roads, then it melts with rain. This usually happens 3-4 times from December - Februray. There are usually 1-5 days of cancelled school or late starts to school. The major roads get cleared pretty well, but it is usually the side roads that are difficult to navigate unless you have an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle. There is not enough snow to warrant getting snow tires. Hope this helps!
