The writers created so much drama for nothing. Luke proposes to Cindy and asks her to marry him. Cindy says yes and they plan out their wedding arrangements. Then, Luke changes his mind and dumps her, but doesn't tell her the truth. I think that the writers will make Cindy move on with another bloke before Luke ends up in the hospital, the truth comes out, and Ollie will be left devastated from losing his father and regretting that he didn't spend more time with him.
I feel so sorry for Luke and I feel so awful and horrible for Cindy. If he can tell Darren about his dementia, he can surely tell Cindy about it. I REALLY hope they make up, BUT if they don't a small part of me want Luke and Mandy to get back together IF Darren and Mandy break up when Nancy tells her that she slept with Darren in tunnels.

And as for Darren not really "loving" Mandy, I agree with you, I mean it was SO obvious that Darren and Nancy still having feelings for each other and love each other when they were making Sami and Sinead's wedding cake, Nancy helped Darren when he thought that Mandy had betrayed him with Luke being DJ's Dad and even offered the couch for him at her place and him comforting her in the tunnels when she thought they were about to die and of course them sleeping together.
