I love the new camera! So much better detailed view on the instrument panels and no more fading of the flight instrument screens due to asynchronous refresh rates. And I love to hear the wonderful sound of the engines revving!
Great video, young lady. I'm seriously impressed with your flying skills. I watch Pilot Debrief, with Hoover and he mentioned you. Good things too. I found your channel and jumped on board. I've always loved aircraft and dreamed of flying. Even took a ground school course. However, it never became a reality. I volunteered at the Wings Over Houston Airshow for 16 years just to be around aircraft. You've got a good head on your shoulders. May God Bless you in all that you do. Godspeed young lady.
Enjoy all your vids Kay since retired from flying myself and they are invaluable to newer pilots given your expertise and professionalism. Capitalizing on that and how gorgeous you are is a win-win for you and for us so my thanks on both fronts! Royce 😉
I think you are doing a great job writing down what you are told on the radio. I believe that there would be a lot of people that would be alive if they were just do check list!
What a gorgeous lady, already breaking my heart and I don't even know here, she is a great pilot too, enjoy watching her flying, great skills, excellent safety knowledge and pilot skills !
It was fun to see you land on runway 13. I landed on that same runway more than a dozen times in late 1960 when it was Naval Auxiliary Air Station (NAAS) Port Isabel. I was flying the T2J-1 Buckeye and was with a group doing air to air gunnery practice each day out over the gulf. Our main base was NAS Kingsville.
My brother was the actual pilot of the (flying) plane in first episode of Landman. That plane is, in fact, owned by the company he works for as its chief pilot. (He is a retired AA MD80 Cap.)
Happy New year and above all stay healthy and be safe! You are an extremely competent pilot and enjoy watching your videos. Last year was a big year for you and wishing you a bigger and better 2025.
I was born and raised in the valley, south padre island was an every weekend thing while I was in school. I live in Broken Bow, OK now. You should fly to Broken Bow and visit our beautiful lake and state park in Hochatown.
Enjoyed. One suggestion, laminate your performance charts. Drink spills won’t matter, no ripped pages and will be available a long time without coping them.
I dug the look on your face when Pops made his 1987 "hazy shade of winter" reference. The all-chick band The Bangles had a hit with it. Cheers from DTN
Nice landing! Also nice list of shows! Tulsa King has been on my list for a while, just haven't gotten around to it. I might have to try some AG1, looks yummy! Good to see Pops with ya again...kinda missed him a little (don't tell him, can't have it going to his head lol). Great video, Kay!
Luv your videos. Who doesn't like flying a twin? Got me thinking, if your Dad is right seat, put those Foogles on the entire trip. IFR currency will help when you got Dad for Safety Pilot. Do the dreaded zero visibility takeoff with the Foogles on, once in awhile. Make each flight count for serious training. Chat with your viewers at cruise, then back on the Foogles. That's how I would do it. No autopilot one leg. Happy Flying 🤓
Happy New Year and I noticed we got to see it right from the start you said when clear I love it. I had to add on to this Mystics been detailed the oil spot on the bottom is gone and Kay you look nice also it's good to see Pops again
You always kill it and then you bring Pop's along and the video goes from awesome to beyond awesome LET'S GO have a banging and blessed New Year Kay 🎆🛩
Very nice first flight of the new year. Thanks for sharing. Next time you're in the DFW area I'd love to shake your hand and say thank you in person... A thought.
I wonder if you are going to cover the program in Clearwater Florida using the Pipistrel Alfa. And how this program could used for Civil Air Patrol cadets to accomplish FAR part 20, and would the Air Force who funds the Civil air Patrol fund it.
First, thanks for the $$$ Robert, I really appreciate it!!! Second, covering it outright is more of a news/informational site, which doesn't really fit my channel. However, if Pipistrel wanted to let me fly one for a video, or a flight school, then I could definitely do something like that. I don't really know much about this airplane but it looks really cool! Do you know anyone that has one that would let me take it for a spin? :)
Love South Texas! Spent many times in Port Aransas and Corpus Christi over the years - looks like it was great weather for flying. Hello from Sunny (But COLD!) Minnesota!
Kay kay!❤ Thus song from holy modal rounders could be your channel theme song: If you want to be a bird Why don't you try a little flying There's no denying It gets you high Why be shackled to your feet When you've got wings You haven't used yet Don't wait for heaven Get out and fly
Watched Yellowstone. Watching Tulsa King. I want to see Landman I don't have Paramount+. Never heard of Silo. Looks interesting. I'll see what I can find out about it
Pretty nice landing, but there are some PIO that can be avoided with gentle corrections. That's what I've learned flying more than 3K hours on Seneca's family (II to V).
Yep, I've heard this for a long time. Set up a rear cam, forget about it, then land in a heavy, bumpy x-wind. I think you'll be surprised at your, "gentle corrections!" Pop's tells a hilarious story about this. I think I'll have him post it. Regardless, thanks for following along! :)

It's great to see Pops back. Y'all know how to make an old man laugh. ✌️❤️

Ahhhh! Thanks RHJ! I appreciate the thoughts and thank you so much for the super thanks! :)
I think you are doing a great job writing down what you are told on the radio. I believe that there would be a lot of people that would be alive if they were just do check list!
It must feel great standing in front of your plane looking at it and think "I can go anywhere I want in the world."
It's pretty cool!
What a gorgeous lady, already breaking my heart and I don't even know here, she is a great pilot too, enjoy watching her flying, great skills, excellent safety knowledge and pilot skills !
I bet shes keeping her personal clise friends outvof youtube. A sweetheart like her must have pilots lined up to date her.😅
Always impressed with how professional you are! Good job all around!
My gosh Miss Kay! Always rocking the styles.. 10/10
I agree
Thanks!
Kay I don't know whether it's the new camera or the AG1, but your natural beauty is really coming through girl!😊

Mine too
I just love the sound of those engines!
Butter landing! Good job, Kay!
Welcome back pops! Nice to see the interaction with Kay while flying. It sure makes the flights fun to watch.

Just got my multi engine commercial a few months go in a Seneca! Great airplane!
I love the sound of the double props revving up on take off. such a nice sounding hummmmmmmmmm.
They sound great, don't they?
@@FlyWithKay nothing like it! and what a special flight to have your dad with you.
If they could make a home fan that did that I'd sleep like a baby every night - it's so soothing.

We had a blast!
Welcome back Pops. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thanks Jim! Happy New Year!
Well that was fun. I grew up at CC. Lived on those beaches in high school in the 60’s….
I don't know why you don't have a million plus followers!!!
love that top
I'd say it pretty much guarantees clicks on the channel. NOT that I'm complaining - LOL
A very Happy New Year to you Kay and your family, May it be a healthy, happy and prosperous one for you all x
Nice Hooters, by the way. I'm assuming😢 you meant to show them!
Got my PPL at KPIL last June! Welcome!

Awesome show. Flying with my friend, last message 32 Delta . Has any fan ever guessed something about you and you say no way !

Great job with that challenging (and unexpected) crosswind!! I definitely noticed the left aileron when you got close to the runway - nice job!!
Yep, that wind was pretty nasty!
Wwowwwz! Looking so beautiful in your video! That camera is much better! Your Pandora is so pretty on you!❤❤❤
Hi Kay merry Christmas happy new year love all of your videos keep up the amazing work 👍❤️
Thank you! You too!
Love the paper power setting chart. I do the same.
I should laminate it. Pop's is looking into inputting it into the Dynon system so it's digital.
Hi kay the refresh rate on the new camera 📷 is so much better
Thank you. I'm still dialing it in.

lol! Pop's browses my comments so he may see this one in there! Give Tulsa King a try and let me know if you grab some AG1 and what you think! :)
Nice video and looking great as ever.
You can use the Info button on the HDX to get the Wx at your destination long before you’re in radio range.
Landman is AWESOME!!!
Ha! We were just there last weekend. Well 45 miles south on the water at our off grid cabin. Love that area!!!
It's a beautiful area!

Oh no! Totally devastating to leave the coffee!! Glad you got pops along again today! Great video as always!!
My coffee incident was a total bummer!
Beautiful flight!
It was a beautiful day for flying!
coffee should be a part of your preflight checklist
as me, a student pilot, I like listening to the radio calls - the more unusual the better
Awesome Flight ! ✈️
Love the new look.
Pops is spot on on Landman, Yellowstone, Tulsa King, Don't forget Lioness all are great. I haven't seen Silo.
I will check out Lioness and make sure to watch season 1 of Silo! :)

Love watching your videos many thanks.
Great video! Is it possible with the new cameras to zoom into the airport when you spot them on final? That would be cool to see.
you do a great job , very professional & a real pro !
Thanks!
Hey Kay, can you do that Bob Hoover trick and mix the AG1 drink while doing a 1G barrel roll? 😄 Just kidding... would be awesome though.
That would be a great video!
Pops is on board love it kiddo❤
We had a nice trip!
Are those Lycomming D-36 or Continental D/38’s….they 👀 to be running very rich on the run up. Gear appears to be UP and locked, the Mags are hot 🥵
Those engines sound great 👍 good to see you guys ☺️
kay its great to see pops back but you need a mute buton for him when you poured the whatter he was makeing a gurgling sound
He was adding Foley sounds. If you're not sure what that is do a quick search on it. I actually think it was pretty funny!
Pretty nice landing, but there are some PIO that can be avoided with gentle corrections. That's what I've learned flying more than 3K hours on Seneca's family (II to V).

I thought you were going to pour AG1 while doing a roll like Bob Hoover.
Advertising for AG1? Who needs that?
