  • Welcome to the picturesque Redridge Mountains, courageous traveler, where rugged cliffs and pristine lakes create a breathtaking backdrop. As the Master of Redridge's lore, I extend my hand to you, ready to reveal the stories etched into the craggy peaks and rolling hills. Join me on this expedition, where the valor of the Alliance and the challenges faced by the local inhabitants converge to create a tale of perseverance and resilience.
Nestled amidst the varied landscapes of the Eastern Kingdoms, the Redridge Mountains is a solemn and peaceful region, bridging the diverse areas of the Kingdom of Stormwind. At its heart lies the serene expanse of Lake Everstill, a tranquil body of water surrounded by sparse woodlands. The terrain here is both awe-inspiring and formidable, a mosaic of rugged crimson hills, lush green canopies, and meandering blue rivers, with the occasional cliff and waterfall that offer breathtaking vistas.
Today, the Redridge Mountains remain a serene and relatively stable territory in the World of Azeroth, known for their picturesque landscapes. Governed as a democracy under the leadership of Magistrate Solomon, this area continues to supply the kingdom of Stormwind with essential resources like timber, fish, and crops. So come, wander the peaceful banks of Lake Everstill, join the call of adventure and aid in safeguarding this vital region under Stormwind's flag.

By the way, I believe the dragon soul that you talked about is actually the demon soul, that was the weapon that deathwing created during the war of the ancients but was recreated later on during the cataclysm to help defeat death Wing and that was when it was called the dragon soul

I have so many great memories from this zone. I still remember my very first visit so clearly. Exploring as a Night elf Hunter It had been a long day of questing in Westfall and the sun was starting to set. I received a letter to hand in at Lakeshire. Making my way back to Elwyn Forest I wondered how I would navigate this long journey without getting lost. Where was this Lakeshire? where was Redridge? Taking a moment at the Lion's Pride inn at Goldshire I bought myself a mug of Ale as I looked at the map. I must of looked so lost, as a Human Warrior approached me. "Are you alright there, friend?" I looked up surprised. "Uhm... y-yeah" I stammered. The warrior laughed. "No offence, but you look a bit lost". I felt so silly.. a hunter lost in foreign land. "I'm trying to find my way to Lakeshire, but I'm not really sure of what path to follow" The warrior, clearly more seasoned than me, lit up and said "Ah that's easy, you just need to keep heading east, in fact I'm heading over there for a delivery now anyway, If you don't mind, you and your cat can follow along." He lifted up his big sword and tied it to his side. "Oh thank you, some company would be very welcome" I followed him past mirror lake and Eastvale logging camp as darkness fell. I could feel my legs scream out in ache as they asked for rest. Every now and then the fellow warrior looked back to see that I was still following along. We approached Three corners where we had a quick paus. "If you turn right here you will end up in Duskwood, a dark and scary place filled with dangers, I recommend that you become a bit more experienced before you head there" I nodded. Suddenly he started to sprint off "Follow me!" he shouted. My legs were shaking as I tried to keep up, we ran uphill which never seemed to stop. Suddenly the warrior came to a halt ahead of me. He turned around and shouted "There, on the other side of the bridge is Lakeshire!" I just made it to the top and gasped as I looked out over Redridge. I could never have imagined just how beautiful it was. I needed to take a few minutes just to take in the view. Eventually I smiled and looked over to my new friend "This is beautiful! thank you for leading me here, but now I'm in dire need of some rest and a good meal!". "I know just the place for you" the warrior replied. He lead me to the Lakeshire in before parting way with me. I just couldn't wait to see what more adventures awaited me in these hills.
