🤔 The texture popping on Unreal it's a Legacy bug that Epic seems to not figure out how to fix it. In games like Paladins it happens all the time. In gears of wars it's something that really hurts that game.
i dont know if its a legacy bug but i remember how bad bioshock was on 360. ive played around with unreal engine some and the shaders themselves put a amount time it takes for it to load or at least it used to it could that the they are just are pushing the shaders to far with with excessive times and the games load faster than the shaders do. ue 5 is impressive but its not great for games at the moment. sadly the easier it gets to make a game the less work is done to make sure it works right
i dont know if the hint feature works there on that but you can just keep picking and changing to find the right one but yeah the first time its like what am i supposed to do it doesn't tell you anything

I think the grainy bug you mentioned is the lumen lighting. In Robocop anything below the ultra setting for lighting would have the same issue.
could be ive noticed in some other games it has some strange effects too like its raining almost like bad SSR how re 2 remake was on ps4.
I was stuck at the first puzzle with the clue-map which totally messed with me. Uninstalled after that.. God dammit.

made me mad at first then i just started swapping them out till i got the right one
