Awesome job. I usually don't play vader but this has helped. A lot of things I didn't know and will start using. I like the chokes when I'm in supremacy. Good job my friend!
Here I am as you asked, I'll be checking your card breakdowns whenever I got the time so I can add what I know about them. I liked what you discovered about Intensified Lightsaber Throw, I too found a few funky things about it in the past. These 30 extra damage are applied in strange situations sometimes, not necessarily requiring that the saber throw hit the enemy twice to apply the extra damage. All the stuff you covered checked with the tests I've done in 2020. The blaster damage that can be deflected is a bit off, because like I said in the Yoda video, you can block something even if you don't have enough stamina for it, you just need to not have 0 stamina to be able to block any source of damage. The true total blaster damage value Vader can block is 2121. I've done some extensive research on blaster damage deflection, and through some really painful tests I discovered every saber's blaster deflection value: - Vader, Yoda, and Obi deflect 2121 dmg; - Ani deflects 1392 dmg; - Luke, Rey, Kylo, and Dooku deflect 1112 dmg; - Maul deflects 810 dmg; - Grievous deflects 222 dmg; When I tested Deflection Stamina back in 2020 I wasn't aware of these values, so I never came back to verify how precise it is. When I did it I just used the same blaster to check the amount of bolts he could deflect with and without the card, and the math checked.
Thanks Rendar so much once again! These thought out comments show me that you care too which means more to me!! Very interesting with the blaster data, I was pretty sure the way I tested it wasn’t the best possible way, but I wasn’t sure how to test that. Anyways, now your making me want to re release some of these more accurate stats in a new video 🤔
The best setup for me is the first three cards: Furious Resilience, Bonus Health and There is no Escape. Bonus Health: While his default health is already pretty high, it doesn't hurt to have more, especially for newer or less skilled players. Since Vader is slower than most other saber heroes, it can be difficult to escape when you're under fire from multiple enemies, who can drain your health in the blink of eye if you're not careful. That extra health helps. Furious Resilience: When I first started playing, I used Punishing Grip instead of this card. With the 950 HP from Bonus Health plus the added 200 HP when Focused Rage was active, I didn't see any need for the added damage reduction. And the way I saw it, being able to choke several enemies to death at once meant I would take less damage. Then I started playing against Expert AI and real players, who drained my health pretty quickly. While I hate that I can no longer kill Assaults, Officers and Specialists with my Choke, that 25% damage reduction has increased my survivability. Plus, I noticed that the temporary health buff depletes more slowly while the ability is on cooldown, which I guess is also helpful. There is No Escape: As I mentioned in the Darth Maul video, the biggest weakness of any saber hero is the lack of range compared to blaster users. So any star card that boosts the range of one of your ranged attacks is a must have IMO. It increases my chances of hitting the enemy and increases the chances of getting the second hit on the return, which means I'm more likely to get kills with it. None of the other cards are all that useful to me. Surrounded by Fear sounds great on paper, but outside of Onslaught in Arcade mode, it's not very helpful as I'm pretty good at managing Vader's stamina. As long as you keep up your block and only attack at the right moment, you should be fine. Intensified Lightsaber Throw is only really useful against Reinforcements and Heroes, and useless is most other situations. The increased blocking stamina is good, but Vader's blocking stamina is already excellent without it and there are much better cards to be running than that IMO. I've never used Last Gasp or Fueling the Rage, but the former seems too situational (While I try to choke multiple enemies, I'm not always able to get them all) and the added time Focused Rage is active isn't all that necessary IMO since the ability recharges pretty quickly.
Hey Keulegold! Thanks for checking out this video, I hope it was helpful to you 👍 and yeah I’ve had requests for blasters too I’ve just been busy with school so that’s why I haven’t posted one of these in a while. I am definitely considering doing blasters though in the future 🤜🤛

Kil0 the goat! Hey man thanks for the comment it’s great to hear from you again! And no worries at all man. I do kinda miss your montages with the beats you use, not gonna lie 🤷♂️
Awesome guide bro this was super useful as I’m playing vader heaps as of late! Your focused range setup would be so much fun vader would be so unkillable with that. One quick question, the ‘fueling the rage’ card reduces the damage reduction when of focused rage, does using the ‘furious resilience’ card re set that? Once again nice stuff
Thanks Bob! Glad it was helpful. And yeah, so the fueling the rage card actually doesn’t reduce damage reduction at all, it just reduce your basic saber damage by 5 with each swing, that’s the only drawback. Damage reduction is still 25% from the furious resilience card, and with both cards equipped, you get 6 extra seconds of 25% damage reduction. Hope what I said made sense. If I didn’t answer your question, lemme know 🤔
This will be a starcard breakdown long remembered
