I prefer Tenacious, Attraction and Raw Strength. The added health from Tenacious is a must have. Whenever I play as Anakin, I always end up taking a lot of damage in a short amount of time (likely because Anakin doesn't have any abilities or cards that provide damage reduction aside from the damage reduction you get while charging Heroic Might), especially compared to other high-health characters such as Vader or Grievous. And if I get down to low health, it will take a lot of kills to get my health back to a comfortable level, so that added health is a must. Originally, I used Control the Force instead of Attraction, but after switching, I much prefer this card. The default pull isn't that great and I ended up missing the enemies at least 50% of the time when I used it. With Attraction, I can pull enemies from much further away, and as I've said many times before, range is the biggest weakness of a saber character and since Anakin doesn't have as many good ranged abilities as someone like Luke or Maul, I can't do well as Anakin without this card. While it's not quite as effective without the Control the Force card that boosts the base range, it's still quite effective. As far as Raw Strength goes, Heroic Might is almost completely useless without it. Even though it's not an ability I use very much (I mostly play Supremacy, where there are fewer enemies that are more spaced out, so I'm rarely in a situation where I'm able to hit more than 1-3 enemies with it at a time; I also don't use Retribution much for the same reason), making it a one-hit kill on infantry (sans Heavys) is another card I can't do without. I know a lot of people like the Massive Strikes and Steamroll cards, but I'm personally not a fan. Anakin's stamina isn't very good and his base abilities aren't good enough to make up for it. I'd rather have more stamina and do less damage with saber strikes than deal more damage with less stamina. But wait, you say, isn't that what the Steamroll card is for? Well, I've tried that card and I didn't have much luck with it. As I mentioned before, Anakin's abilities aren't very effective for enemies at range, aside from the pull, which, even with the added range, has a rather long cooldown time compared to other ranged attacks such as Vader and Maul's saber throws or Maul's spin attacks. So whenever my pull is on cooldown, I'm basically like Count Dooku in the sense that I'm completely powerless against enemies beyond close range (and I suck with Dooku for the most part). His block sucks. Not only is his default blocking stamina rather lackluster, but he's not very good at deflecting shots back at the shooter. And what good is extra swinging stamina when I can't defend myself well while being shot at? And if I lose a lot of health, it's hard to get back.
Anakins load out is so fun because you can have your raw strength to one hit non heavys and the card that boosts your pull so you can one hit no heavyset and then have the card that boosts your base swing so you can one hit all non heavys with your swing a abilities.
Amazing work bringing this immensely detailed video to me brother! I was seeking this kind of explanatory power for Star Card effects for a while & never found one so clear & concise as this one is! Thanks again.
Hey, it is my honor Poseidonc12! I felt the same way, which is one reason I started youtube because nobody made a video like that. Thanks for the kind words, and I hope you have a great day 🙏
I am really interested to see an in-depth exploration of Yoda’s Star Wars Battlefront II mechanics. Whenever I play as him, I get the feeling that his block is bugged, for example, blaster bolts from regular troops sometimes still damage him through it. He also releases his block momentarily at times when changing elevation, I’ve seen him slip down a tiny slope (admittedly not every slope) & lose his block momentarily even though I never released the block button. In the heat of battle, especially at low health, it just feels annoying to be killed by a few regular troops because of faulty mechanics.
@@poseidonc1259 my bad for replying late. Yeah I wanna cover Yoda more myself cuz I’ve noticed the same thing during my yoda killstreaks. I will definitely do a Yoda full breakdown 👍
Great breakdown as usual! Everything checked with my results as well. A suggestion to your distance tests is to use scoped weapons to measure distance, this is how I did in my tests. The Specialist main weapons have this feature, as well as Iden's Pulse Cannon. This way you can be sure if the change in distance is really accurate or not.
I didn’t even know you could do that with scoped weapons interesting 🤔. And thanks for checking out this video Rendar, especially since I made this video a long time ago
Nice video. I usually run with massive strikes, steamroller, and heroic might one kill card. But now I'm thinking about doing the heroic might one kill card, steamroller, and raw strength were he one kills people with pull. However with raw strength you need at least two people but in supremacy anakin usually is able to get that. I feel like that second set up o said, I could last a long time and have my abilities to help me if I'm in trouble due to them one killing or having a lot of damage to. What you think 🤔
Hey R B!! Thanks for checking out the video 🙏 Yeah, for your style, I’d recommend Massive Strikes & Raw Strength for sure. And then for your third card, I’d recommend either All of Them (which is the 1-hit pull card if you pull at least two), or I’d run Control the Force (wider range for heroic might) because that pairs very nicely with Raw Strength. That’s my recommendation for you 👍
