What a fair tale comment 😂
Ben is the kind of guy in which divorce isn't a consideration.
As it should be.
I think if we polled it, that would be the vast majority of men. Probably for a reason but I can’t put my finger on it 🤔 perhaps men marry for love, that may be it.
No wonder Ben has no problem being so pro-marriage, lol, he has very little to lose in a divorce, so he has no problem leading men to the precipice. 😂
He'd probably start beating her if it got bad enough before he'd consider divorce lol
He wouldn't pay alimony or child support. He's worth more than 10 million right now so 1 million is chump change. Just look at Dr Dre paying his wife an exorbitant amount. Also this comment is dumb because men marry for love and loyalty. Women are the ones who initiate divorce because of "happiness" or something vaginally inclined that keeps them single. Tia Mowry is a great example.
The father is actually a better negotiator; he lowered the incentive for divorce with family in mind knowing that $1 million is sufficient money. Top negotiating.

Not necessarily. When I was a young grasshopper I was at a social event and somehow got seated with a bunch of grannies in their 70s and 80s. They started ribbing me about my age, I should start thinking about getting married.
To make conversation I asked them how soon after they met their husbands did they know he was the man they would marry? They all started thinking, then the oldest one spoke up first: "Ten minutes", she stated.
The other grannies slowly nodded in agreement. They knew immediately, as soon as they met them, that man was their future husband.
And then the oldest woman told me seriously: " If you don't feel that way about someone, don't marry them. It will never work."
She was right. When I met the "right one" it was like an electric shock. And that electricity never went away.
Thats normal if its the right one

Never sign a contract with someone who benefits from it for breaking it.
It’s only for if he breaks it
But he makes way more than 10 million, so really she's incentivized to stay married to him.
I'd like to think they're dependent on each other. He's a lawyer at the end of the day and she's a doctor. That in itself guarantees a sizable income for both at their locations. That being said, the orthodox Jewish community tend to treat their women very well and understand the importance of family, the bonds of mother and child, and that same bond with the dad. It's a contract of mutual respect for the role each other plays. Similar to alimony and child support.
Ain't nobody marrying you then. A woman will not spend her youth staying at home taking care of your kids and house just so you can cheat/abuse her and leave her with nothing. It's also an incentive for a man not to abuse, cheat on the wife because he could lose that money.
A Jewish marriage contract can only be broken with the consent of both parties.
she’s a doctor you know. Did I already mention that she’s a doctor? Okay, we’ll, I’ll just say she’s a doctor.

The Ketuhba is exactly the same as the Mehrieh in Iran, where the future husbands agree to pay a certain number of gold coins to the bride in the event of divorce :) But the amount is is to be paid in pure gold coins not in fiat currency. Now, with the crazy inflation and the devaluation of the money in Iran, all the husbands are now stuck and many in jail for not paying the mehrieh.
3rd world country moment
Yes exactly. In Islam we have Mehriah and shirbaha which are thing the bride will request and agree on (for example some amount of gold or money) so if she had to divorce, It's a form of appreciation to her, and she can live by herself for a while. Wouldn't call the Mehriah beautiful if a man can go to jail for not abiding by it, and the women doesn't suffer the same consequences.
I see many people don't understand but ktubah is the official document of marriage in Judaism that include all the vows of the husband to his wife and vice versa however there is another thing in the ktubah if the man divorce his wife he have to pay her the amount of money he written there and it can be 10 millions dollars as it has no limit of how much he need to put. Also in Israel (marriage and divorce are religious in Israel based on your religion) and in religious divorce of jews it is completely legally binding and can even land the husband in jail if doesn't pay it. That rule doesn't apply from women they don't have to pay anything in case of divorce. And I know people that wrote high amounts of money and regreted when they divorced. 😊

@@incorrigiblewizardry106 the Star of David is watching us all👀👀👀 but for real, you know who we can’t mess with when we gotta put such disclaimers up. Now where’s my next usury victim?! Shalom!
It’s based on a tradition where women were worth nothing if they were not married. Unfortunately, many people still have that mindset so until that is changed, the tradition stays
What happens in nonJewish relationships, alimony, child support, half of everything. Shit almost sounds like they have a better way.
Let's say hypothetically you were to marry me...
That was how he proposed lol
Cool guy, very confident. Hope your marriage is the best for both of you.
He probably did it to save his marriage. Wife would be tempted to get divorced if that meant getting 10 millions. Now his grandchildren will get over 100 millions from Ben. Genius negotiator I would say.
Ben is a stunning husband who values his wife. Beautiful.
its normal and congruent that u like this kind of proposal since you are a female. Otherwise, u wont.
And does his wife value him?
No matter what you think of his politics, Ben’s love for his wife is just pure wholesome and respectful.
No one gets married thinking they will get divorced. You wouldn't be able to predict it.
No, they understand marriage. They’re fine
You clearly don't know how modern women operate when it comes to marriage. 50% of marriages end in divorce and 80% of those divorces the woman is the one that filed the papers. It very much is predictable.
Plenty do know they'll divorce. you'd be surprised. That's why they leave with the stupidest excuse.
True but I think Ben means that Jewish tradition does not allow for divorce so unless it is extreme circumstances he will not divorce his wife.
@@Ameria3289it’s not a matter if the man means his vows.
It’s the almost inevitable knife in the back that you get from the selfish treacherous creatures we call women.
That father-in-law really likes him…
Even through the internet you see they belong together a healthy happy long life to both Ben and is beautiful wife and family. Amen

The fact the father said ‘she’s not worth that amount of money’ is pretty weird
You don't get jokes do you ? From where I am from their parents will joke about giving the husband money so they can get rid of their daughters xD.
*pretty realistic
This is one of the best stories ever. They married for love. His father in law knew him well.
Yeah love. Not money...
He told her he was gonny make lots of money
Men tend to do that.
Where do you get "married for love" out of a story about how he hooked his wife by telling her how much money he had or would have?
@@manabouttongue shallow, materialistic men do that when their personality amounts to "i have money"
I love your culture bro. You guys don’t play around. Respect. ❤

Yuck
Love his vision and confidence! If you don’t see it, it won’t come!
Dude sings a document where only the guy owes the girl, and he calls his father in law a terrible negotiator.
She said, you had me at millions
“He’s a horrible negotiator” i think he’s just a horrible dad 😂😂😂😂😂
What a stupid tradition. It's also not traditional in Judaism. Must be Ashkenazi Jew or something.
🎯
Someone should scold the father-in-law. That is not good fathering.
It's Amazing How Arabic And Islam Very Close to Hibro And Jewish But Still There is So Much Difference "Problems Or War" between Both 😅...
Islam Also Have an Agreement Exactly Like Ketuba ..
Also Ketuba In Arabic Could Mean Engagement ..
If it’s too much money she might be persuaded herself to break up… so smart of the dad.
Why?
If I divorce my husband sure I would get lots of money, but then I wouldn’t have my husband.
I have more money AND my man staying married.
@@mrs.americanpie2079lol, most women don't think like that, they think, sure I won't have my husband, but atleast I'll have his money.😂
@@alltheworldsastage4785I swear, you people are always negative. Not every marriage fails, most of them go on for years until one of them dies. The widow doesn't even remarry out of respect or religion.
@@professor0reo700 More than half of all marriages end in divorce.
That's more than 50%, so most marriages actually fail.
It's not about being negative, it's about being realistic.
@@professor0reo700 Here's another fact, 70% of all the divorces filed in America are filed by women, so women by a vast majority file many of the divorces that occur in America, hence my initial response to @mrs.americanpie2079.
If you want to go on with your childish, blue-eyed, idealistic version of marriage, go on right ahead, but miss me with that bullshit, marriage has been made a joke, and not just by women, but by divorce courts and the marriage laws that exist.
This video made me feel loved because my dad would NEVER say that about me.
The father in law said that to be funny, but he was trying to make the amount big enough to matter but not so big she’ll want to divorce him to get rich and leave with a big pay day. He knew what he was doing which was support his daughter by encouraging marriage and she’ll still get a lot of she chooses divorce.
That's a very nice man
Just don't look up any of his political/geopolitical stances because they get 1940s starch manned real quick
Itd be funny is a middle class man marries a billionaire women and now the middle class man has to pay.
Ofc this situation is likely not ever gonna happen anytime soon but just a thought.
Dad was just saving you from a run away multimillionaire wife and nocked it down to petty cash at their current status
I thought this guy was smart until this video. You have no control rather she leaves you or not and don't give her shit. That's just an easy out for modern women.
It's an AI video. Really look close
I hope you don't hold on to such bitter resentment for long, and you find a woman who will make you feel truly loved.
Lol. It doesn’t mean shit. She can take him for half.
depends hwo they do the kituba if they just did it though the church than it doesn't really matter but if they do it and submit it to the state than it will be legally bidding.
@@bobberry1463 There is the arguement though that the state not recognizing the religious document could be infringement on their religion.
She would suffer consequences for taking their marriage outside of Jewish law. Remember they're both Orthodox Jews.
If when you have problems you go to God in prayer you have less than a 1% chance of divorcing. They are not getting a divorce, they love God and I’m sure they take their problems to him in prayer and obey his will not their own well that they understand is not as high of ways as the Lords ways. Islamic marriages also have a similiar agreement and I think it's the best option, especially for man!
Let's say you are worth $50mln, if you ever get divorced you won't lose $25mln and half of your properties/assets but only the amount you both agreed on before the marriage took place.
I really think everyone should adopt this agreement!

That is NOT ok! A man should not have to pay a woman who cheated on him and got her ash kicked to the curb. Not a cent!
So all she has to do is leave him and she's guaranteed $1 million?
If that's not incentivising bad female behaviour and home wrecking then I don't know what is.
I don't know about jews but we have similar traditions.
If the divorce is initiated by the woman with no good reason the woman pays the man what he initially paid her
@@SerajAlhorany that sounds pretty fair. Which religion is that?
@@jesseking9254sounds like Islam. Thats what muslims do. The women pay the dowry equivalence back to the man or if possible, she gives back what he gave her when they got married. Source: I am a Muslim👍
