At that point Ben wasnt rich, so the father in law did not want his son in law to owe his daughter so much in case of a divorce. So 1million still is considered a lot, think about if Ben would not have made it, would get divorced at some point and would then need to pay his ex wife 1million. That would be a hard task, and 10 millions would be a life sentence. Nah the father in law is just a good realistical man and didnt want Ben to get in future trouble. To make conversation I asked them how soon after they met their husbands did they know he was the man they would marry? They all started thinking, then the oldest one spoke up first: "Ten minutes", she stated.
The other grannies slowly nodded in agreement. They knew immediately, as soon as they met them, that man was their future husband.
And then the oldest woman told me seriously: " If you don't feel that way about someone, don't marry them. It will never work."
She was right. When I met the "right one" it was like an electric shock. And that electricity never went away.

To any parent you’re child is priceless, well not too the opposite of adoption but the word sounds similar to the A word that only one parent can do… but regardless many parents their kids are eventhing, I’ve seen some wild hero mum/dad moments. What’s next @mamayake are you going to say the same with every funny husband returning their wife back jokes? 9/10 the dads say “she’s your problem now” as a joke, besides my guys happily married and a legend in his own right. I think his father in law knows no matter what when he dies his daughter and grandchildren will be well taken care of, married till death do them part or if the divorce, which I honestly can’t see happening.

Also in Israel (marriage and divorce are religious in Israel based on your religion) and in religious divorce of jews it is completely legally binding and can even land the husband in jail if doesn't pay it.
