It is really amazing what y’all put into helping these horses and just goes to show that when haters have complained that you are raising too much money for the horses that they themselves are ignorant on what is necessary to get these horses healthy and safe.
Thank you for spelling things out and also for the tour. For any who may have been questioning your organization, I hope this has cleared up any questions you may have. I'm sure most people think as I do, that this is one of the most impressive, and well thought out, rescue organizations I've ever seen. Correct me if I'm wrong, but, if I remember correctly, you never dreamt about doing this until after you found, and adopted Colby and Big John. For outsiders, it may seem impossible, but it is crystal clear to me that you didn't start this on a whim. This kind of thing takes good connections in the equine world, hours of meetings and phone calls, cooperative land owners, dedicated, flexible Veteranarians, well educated and caring trainers and farriers, passion, and lots of money. My only fear, is that Ally and Olivia forget to properly compensate themselves for their work, and/or burn themselves out. However, from what we've seen on the tour, if Olivia and Ally ever had to step away from running this, it would be able to continue, due to all the special people they've brought into CCR. Thank you for all you do for your rescues, and for putting good out into the world. You are inspiring:)
Great tour, and I love all that you and your team does! My dad is looking for a legit group to support in his late wife's name, and I am going to STRONGLY recommend Colby's Crew!
Horses are beautiful animals. I love mules and donkeys too. What a sweet herd they are! I am so glad you are taking care of these beautiful babies. They're awesome!
Good lord!! I don’t know how Ally walked through those beautiful horses and not touch them! 😩 I love the way the white horse responded to Ally’s voice 🥰 What a beautiful, clean facility!
That is brought up in the vid. She can't touch/pet them because she'd been in quarintine w/ sick ones, & can't risk passing strangles to others that are healthy.
Wow, this system is incredible. I love that you have several facilities where horses can go. It’s such a good idea, this allows you to save so many more lives than having one shelter. It eases the load on staff and gets lots of stables involved in rescue work. Well done in organising such an incredible charity, your work is just priceless. Do you have a lot of regular donors or do you have to do constant fundraising to help the horses in your facilities? Thank you for all you do to help the voiceless beautiful horses in America, you are absolutely incredible. 🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
So much appreciation to Joe and Beth at Breezy Hill. Their setup is amazing and such a huge complement the all the work CCR does. Thank you for taking us along with you. It's so good to see it and gets some updates too!
I wish more people would put their energies into saving, retraining, treating etc into running animal sanctuaries.well done keep up your work.its very heartwarming and interesting the jobs your crew do.when my daughter has finished college I'd love to send her to you to help with your movement.she wants to be an animal (horse)physio/hydrotherapist. She would love this.even if for a few months experience with you.
They should not have nylon web halters on all the time, they are at risk of hanging themselves...halters should have leather tops "breakaway" halters. If they get hung up on a fence they will break...mush safer.
I love the model used by Colby crew it is a breath of fresh air and yes is sincerely inspirational

Did you see that little stinker mini at the end stomping his foot to get into the food? Lol!

Really love the video!!!
Wow! I appreciate all the attention to detail and your professionalism. How many equines are in your care at this time in August 2024?
I am so so very sorry, but my adhd brain may have missed it, and I'm a new follower. But what is strangles? Thank you for all you do!!

Nice tour of where they all go once you buy them. What is strangles?
I would Google that. It’s almost like horse covid
What is a strangle test
A test for a highly contagious virus for horses
