I hope you do some research before selling the things you found. Those glass candies could be valuable if they were made by Murano. Also, a Tastykake tin like the one you found sold on Ebay for $24.99 and popcorn turkeys like the one you found sold for twenty-five dollars and up on Ebay. It doesn't make sense to me to go to all that work and then sell a $25 dollar turkey for a couple dollars at the flea market. At least the items you found looked relatively clean and the locker did not contain a lot of actual trash. Thanks for sharing a fun clean-out video!
You got a shopper's unit. Many items are from either HSN or QVC. I think you will do well. Your Crowley's sewing cabinet appears to be the real deal. Vintage and worth very good money. The lettering appears to gold leaf like a spool cabinet I had once. Look a few of those odd ball items up. You have some sleepers there. Well done! Glad you didn't get poked at the beginning.
@@camlawn , yes, they changed a lot between 1909 when they went into business and when they stopped operation in 1999. They moved their 2nd store to Dearborn in 1959, Grand River in 1960, and identical stores in Livonia and Macomb Malls in 1964. Value City, a discount chain, bought them out and rebranded 3 of them in the Detroit area as Crowley's Value City in 1999. They went out of business in 2008 when Value City did. There are still many Crowley Furniture stores, without the apostrophe "s", here in MO. They claim to be over 150 years old. Perhaps another branch of the family. Got most of this from Wiki. I like to research. 😊
Always check inside pillows.....RadioShack Child's Calculator goes for 10......WOW...Crowley's Needles box (1930's) $150- 400 !!!!!!!!!! Worthpoint!....That green wine/oil bottle may be worth money!!!...Looks hand blown ...ITALIAN DEMIJOHN GREEN GLASS WINE DECANTER WITH PLUGS AND ICE CHAMBER
My husband and I did our best to look up info on that Crawlers needles box. We saw only one that looked like it and it was valued at over $200.00! Fabulous find Indeed!!
Those Charming Tails by Fitz and Floyd (near the 5:17 mark) are worth $5 to $15 apiece. You're right about that Harry Slatkin candle too; probably worth $20 to $30 new.
The glass candy pieces and candles are great ebay items. Some of those candles are $30 or more. A great unit! Charming Tales are collectible as well. Towels are great donations to an animal shelter if you have one nearby. Check that planter out.
Wow, What A great buy!! That glass candy is vintage, you could sell them from anywhere from $8 to $14 a piece!! And there is a collector's market for those Charming Tails Figurines also!! The tastykake fruitcake tin sold on eBay $ 24 in may .
Hey Taco, those stuffed animals are all vintage, I believe the orange one is an ALF doll, and is rare. The Raggedy Ann doll, and the Cat in the Hat are also worth some cash.
Taco! I only caught a glimpse of that hand egg beater with the orange/red wood handle and knob at 11:35, but it looks like it could be an old Edlund from the 1920's or 1930s, worth around $15-$20 (or more? depending on condition after a little cleanup.) I love and collect old kitchen items and have a half-dozen or so vintage egg beaters.
@@rebeccagable9629I also love old kitchen utensils and stuff. The reddish handle caught my eye, and I immediately wondered who was the manufacturer. I looked at my small collection of beaters and also consulted a book I've had for many years, "Kitchens and Gadgets 1920 to 1950" published in 1982. The video's egg beater appears to be an Edlund due to the D-shaped handle and the shape of the beaters. We have a bunch of old kitchen stuff that belonged to my husband's family including a set of old individual gelatin molds, old Betty Crocker recipe books, etc. and that's what started me on collecting kitchen items. I keep some of them in a hoosier cabinet that we bought almost 50 years ago.
Would really like to see you actually go through the boxes back at the warehouse. I think you're going to find that alot of what you found is ebay worthy and you'd lose quite a bit of money by just unloading it at the flea market! The box @25:00 looks like it had some disney figurines in it. Those and the glass candies alone should bring your $60 bucks back.o
Check out those stuffed animals . Some of the vintage ones sell well on EBay and flea market resellers will buy them to sell if you do not want to list them
The peacock chair you found on the curb is a lot better deal than the wicker chair in this unit, but some of the other stuff here is nice. Be careful with those breakable collectibles such as the Charming Tails, the glass candies, even the vintage cooking utensils might bring a lot more than you think if you do auctions on eBay.
That green clear glass bottle ( jug) you have is a wine cooler. My mom had one and it's from the 1960s. It sat in our kitchen for decades! The bubble part of it holds ice to chill the wine. You have a great find there. Wish I lived closer to your area. I would love to be able to buy it from you.. You always have the best stuff!!
Today has been another fun day of you cleaning out the storage unit. I just enjoy seeing what treasures you find. I liked how you tried out that chair and you did look very uncomfortable. Hope that you and Salsa have a wonderful weekend Taco.
Great video as always, long time subscriber. Me wife and kids love to watch your videos when eating dinner. We are amazed what people through out. All the best From Bill. Hertfordshire UK
Sell the linens at the flea market!! The candles come from QVC and are expensive! there was a Halo Bolt in one of the purses, they are expensive too!! The Tastykake tin will sell on Ebay!
Research the figurines before you box lot them. The Fitz and Floyd can sell as low as $10 to as high as $80. on eBay depending on the subject. Careful with the porcelain smalls you could be losing money damaging them :)
I always look carefully through stuff because you never know. I once found a box on the side of the road and after looking at the junk and a few good things I found in the bottom of the box I found one of those pure silver coins and a large silver commemorative coin. And in a box of bathroom junk I found a little basket with 7 sterling silver rings. In another box of kitchen junk I found a set of salt and pepper shakers with a slip of paper inside one with information about the shakers and date made. They were carved out of ivory. Got the kitchen box at a yard sale for 75 cents.
Great video, Taco! Thanks for taking us along. Yeah, those glass candies are awesome and very sought after. They're Italian glass and go for a good amount. You'd do best selling them online and should get back a good portion of the $60 you'd paid for the unit. Coupled with the candles at $5-$10 apiece, to move them quick, would be OK. The Crowley's Needles box is worth a lot of cash. I don't think copies of them have been made. You can always check out the joints, how the drawers were put together, to see if it is old. Incredible!
The Charming Tails and Precious Moment pieces run in the $20 to 40 price range. I used to collect them so am familiar with how expensive they can be. That being said don’t let them go for a dollar at the flea market. This is a pretty good unit so will definitely make your money back.
You need to be careful of the glass figures as some of them are collectable. Be sure to check the pottery also, so do your research so you know their value. Fantastic finds and you are going to definitely make you money back!!! Great job 👏 👍 I love storage lockets. They are so interesting . Another great video. Especially the antiques!! They are awesome. Until the next one..
OMG Taco Stacks Congratulations on your Storage Auction win👏👏👏👏👏👏. Hugs and kisses for Queen Salsa and Queen Gracie. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!!!
Check on the glass candies - depending on the maker they can be worth about $25-$40 for a dozen. Also the Charming Tails and (some) Precious Moments/Jonathan and David have value. Great finds in that locker!
Well what we saw good Taco but can you empty each box so we can see what is in them . If you have to just take it all home & set out a big table and take each b9xc9ntenrs so we could see them . Thanks Taco
Thanx Taco, I enjoy you purchasing these lockers, people are all alike. My nephew by marriage and great nephew about a year ago put things from my home I sold into a locker. Because I at the time had some medical disabilities have NO idea how it was loaded or exactly what is in it. I have never been there. Now as I watch the locker or storage unit sales and see what is in them, it may not be the person who owns them that packed them. I also do not like to think of how my “precious” things are not so precious to others. Keep that in mind. Knowing my family hopefully there is NOTHING EDIBLE in my unit.
Tastykake has been around a long time. When I was little my grandparents had a hoagie shop and sold them for 5-10cents. They were coconut juniors. Chocolate juniors. Butterscotch krimpets , chocolate cupcakes and many more items. Good stuff lol
The Crowley Needle box ... was showed on Google at an antique shop for $275+; that Tasty Kake box sounded like it had buttons in it. I would say you made your $60 back.

Dang taco you are pretty rough with some of your stuff, and you should look at the brand of those purses! The marbles are cool! I have marbles my dad made when he was a kid , he couldn’t afford to buy glass ones!
Oh my goodness so many great items in that storage unit Taco. Don't sell everything at the flea market though, you could make lots more money on ebay I reckon. Could you please open the boxes and film back at your warehouse, would love to see what other treasures you find 😊
Looks like you got a "Grandma going to a nursing home" unit. I think my mother had some stuff like some of that. The green sangria jug, you put ice in the small bulb and it cools the wine.
I hope you do some research before selling the things you found. Those glass candies could be valuable if they were made by Murano. Agree, but just fyi, Murano is not a company - it is an island off Venice famous for their art glass production.
I'm interested in what you do with the glass candies ? I bought some several years just because they were unique !!

Oh if worth that much he can sell at flea market for five dollars.
Paper & Moose has always said she wanted a fireplace!! 🤩
The stuffed person you found with the deer is a gnome. They are very popular right now in home decor
What a mix cat in the hat may be worth some money ❤️😄🇬🇧
Just the Crowley's Needles box is worth $200+. Good find Taco!
I love that wicker house, looks like it might be a hamper.
Those Charming Tails by Fitz and Floyd (near the 5:17 mark) are worth $5 to $15 apiece. You're right about that Harry Slatkin candle too; probably worth $20 to $30 new.
The Pyrex bowl pattern is BUTTERFLY GOLD, TOO (too as in also , not two). It looks to be in nice condition. Wishing you a good profit on this locker.
Murano glass candy and that piece of furniture is most like an antique sell it don’t burn it
Great buy! I think you just turned $60 into a couple thousand$$$! Thank you once again for taking us along with you on another adventure! ❤
Those glass candy pieces are probably made in Italy and should have value. I have some myself, bought at the Murano glass factory outside Venice.
The glass candy pieces and candles are great ebay items. Some of those candles are $30 or more. A great unit! Charming Tales are collectible as well. Towels are great donations to an animal shelter if you have one nearby. Check that planter out.
Panther planter is definitely vintage..
Agree on the glass candy
Wow, What A great buy!! That glass candy is vintage, you could sell them from anywhere from $8 to $14 a piece!! And there is a collector's market for those Charming Tails Figurines also!! The tastykake fruitcake tin sold on eBay $ 24 in may .

aren't these named wooden cabinets made to store & display Crowley Needles in Old Stores ???
The odd green bottle with the Spout is for wine and where the Kork is where you put ice in it to keep it cool.

The sewing thread drawers/cabinet looks like a replica. However, you can see it better than we can.
Those plates are anywhere from 10-30 each depending on the plate and the condition. Not too bad.
That was a nice unit. Started out a little iffy but ended up with some really cool stuff.
