Mob's knowledge of when to duck in even 2-hit strings to get massive punishes is incredible. His combos aren't the best, but jeez what he did to that poor Lee and Hwoarang was sublime.
@@can1as I feel so spoiled by how many exciting Lars players we've got now. Mob, KaizokuLars, Tekkenmaster, Strog~ It's a good time to be a fan of the character!
@@SuperCosmicSpaceMagnet absolutely! i’ve also been following strog and kaizokulars since T7. T8 has introduced me to even more great lars players like tekken master and hoochoo, of which i really enjoying watching as well and i try to take as much as i can from their gameplay :D
I just picked up Lars again and actually starting to get more and more used to him This just shows that I still need to work on him and figure out ways to get more used to him cause there are some atks that idk on how to do But man all of the fights were really good
Good god. All of his Lars are incredibly slow. His db+4 looks like a snake edge and gets punished like one but is nothing without counter hit. Lars is easiest to play against people that care to respect him. Otherwise, you can get away with pressing buttons. I’m surprised he didn’t get hop kicked in this video
And his answer to pressure is always to trade. He would be significantly better if his sen 2 got just a 2 frame faster start up. Then it could at least be useful for oki. The way it is now, it is almost always too slow to beat someone on wake-up.

mob always goes for fancy combos, even tho he can easily do optimized combos. that’s one of the reasons why i love to watch him haha

He got away with it cuz he’s obviously a better Lars and just knows how to not get predictable with it
