You just use a long section of tube and loop a string or small rope through one and have the two rope ends out the other end of the tube. Get the snake to go through the loop and pull the rope ends to tighten the loop. Not too hard though. You don't want to hurt it. Then just release it over the side or make it walk the plank.

Man, I worked on that boat!! In 2008, cruising French Polynesia. Know the owner and his family very good. Not amazed this happened, if the captain of then was still in charge when this happened. Not amazed to hear crew didn't got paid. I had a lot of trouble to get my wages in that time from them. They paid in the end, the financial situation was not so bad apparently then. The sons were dealing with the management of the boat, but were not really interested in it. It was a dream thing of the father, the sons didn't share that dream, clearly. The captain was a total drunk, all day all night. Couldn't walk the plank at times to get back on board, we had to drag him in. The boat was heavily modified by the owner to make it longer and higher. Sails and rigging was in terrible state, regular, things just snapped with light winds. We also had some horrible guests on board at the time that to our relief finally left ship in Bora Bora. Nobody accepted their shitty tip money and we turned our back to them when they left, except of course the drunk captain who took the tip for himself. However, it was fun to see something of French Polynesia this way. Accept for the captain, the rest of the crew were nice people to work with. It is sad to see it wrecked like that. If they would have the budget, I would take it out and get it back in shape again. The ship is worth it.
So heart warming how the two little boys row the old man around so he can ply his trade. I probably would have bought every fruit and veggie on his boat.
I would have given him $5 too. I’m not at all surprised you did. Bless you. I’m an American expat living in the Philippines with my Filipina wife and 2 children. When US Immigration gets around to signing off on our paperwork we will be going to the USA. I love it here but I can make such a difference in my family’s life I must do it. The children are too young to understand how it will change their lives but it is the greatest gift I can ever give. It’s the extra large size of overpaying for Mangoes. Lol.
So you need to have a long handled pincher clipper do dad. Don't know what you call them but they are for reaching things in high places. You could have picked it up and thrown it over board. Yikes I would have been sketchy with a snake on my boat! Aww it made me so happy to see you give him $5 instead of the $1 that he charged. You made his day. You give it out in slices and it will come back to you in loaves. That's how the universe works. LOVE YOU GUYS! @@martialme84 Yeah right they're just a poor island nation, don't spoil them with an extra 4 dollars. They're not schooled in the art of wasting 4 dollars like the western world, people who have every opportunity and advantage and still fail. I guess you need them to be desperately scratching around for a living to make this youtube sailing video authentic for you. You've never had an unexpected windfall then? Meanwhile the guys chilling on the beach are guarding a superyacht. How do they know about the owners financial troubles, smoke signals? How are they getting paid by the son, carrier pidgeon? Big iron bird drop green paper from sky. How do you know what they will spend the money on, I guess they would have spent it on fishing line and hooks had they not been given them and how much would they have got for 4 dollars. Maybe they're saving for grandma's knee replacement op. The answer is we don't know how that money will affect the community so why make assumptions.
@@munhl Hehe, easy now, friend. You get several things mixed up there pretty badly. Nobody "spoiled an island nation with 4 dollars". What somebody did was: pay a fruit vendor 500% of the asking price. Now imagine a second citizen of that island, say the neighbour of that fruit vendor. Say this neighbour is considered poor even by the standards of that island. Now this neighbour wants to buy fruit for their family but the fruit vendor has raised his prices because he has realized that he can. Do you see where this is going? This is a mechanism that happens constantly around the world. I am surprised that you are unaware of this. There is a difference between a) making yourself *feel* good and b) doing some *actual* good for sombody else. Cheers, m8.
That snake in the boat would make me crazy- how did it get in?Thru the cockpit drain? I'd put a screen over it while there is a risk of snakes ending up in your bed! And the free diving for the anchor was impressive to say the least. Thx for the video!
Those sea snakes avoid people at all cost. I used to see them plenty while diving off of Okinawa, Japan. If you grab them by the tail and squeeze the air out, they shoot to the surface for more - and sometimes come back down pissed and bite the diver.

Good work with freeing the anchor. Thanks for another cool video.
"cockroach and spiders but me I have snakes.."
*Ten seconds later*
"Let me just get some more footage."
😂😂😂😂
Yup
Koodos to you for giving them $5.
Those would cost you around $40 even more where I live.
Interesting World kudos*
Norway? Switzerland?
In London it would cost in excess of £50 , even is supermarket
Great videos. You guys are amazing. I think everyone who saw that yacht wanted to own it!
My favorite episode ever!!! Love snakes. What an honor to be able to see the incredible sea snake. Wow. Thanks for not chopping it in half. Lol
You just use a long section of tube and loop a string or small rope through one and have the two rope ends out the other end of the tube. Get the snake to go through the loop and pull the rope ends to tighten the loop. Not too hard though. You don't want to hurt it. Then just release it over the side or make it walk the plank.
I'm so happy you give him 5 bucks!!!
Super cool video again guys
what a beautiful old ship it needs love bad, be nice to see it sailing again! great video guys, this one made me subscribe lol
Can’t think of better music to play while on a boat, than Jimmy Buffett.
The locals coming to you was really cool
What beautiful lines that boat has
very cool video and sailing guys!! thanks 4 sharing!
Very kind of you to give 5 💵 I thought that was really nice and generous the Fisher man didn't look like he had much money so I bet he was glad of that well done 👍
Happy anniversary!!!!! Love that Buffett shirt! We are huge Parrott Heads by the way.....Lol Great video as always. Ashley was funny during that snake video!!!!
Ben is a parrot head...
that drone footage is so nice of the boat
Subbed! so great to see good humans. I gave gas to a guy yesterday, he ran out.
Lol.
He is the captive of this boat now
So you need to have a long handled pincher clipper do dad. If you come to Huntington Beach, CA USA (1 hr south of Los Angeles, look me up if I'm in town you can stay with me and we can do a show and have you share your story.)
I wonder if that wreck is still there
Anyone who made a thumbs down has no heart 💔 at all, really look at the old man together with the two young children didn't have but you see!!
S you guys are so funny....the whole snake thing was great. Ben you act the same way as my hubby when it comes to snakes!
New to the channel and can't remember how I came across it, but I really like it! You guys are great, anyways may the wind be at your back and the sun on your face, safe passage!!
What a gorgeous shipwreck!
You guys do great!

Very nice of you giving the guy $5 for the fruit!
It was certainly meant to be nice, but her and others like her might wreck the local economy by overpaying this extremely.
Just think about what it does to your neighbourhood when richer outsiders come in and pay too much for things. Prices go up as a result.
@@martialme84 That can/does happen. Doubt it for the local community. Chill.
@@martialme84 You doing understand financial management I see.
There is a difference between
a) making yourself *feel* good and
b) doing some *actual* good for sombody else. Cheers, m8.
Awesome video as always!
What if the snakes going in to the the bedroom with that open window
Exactly
That snake in the boat would make me crazy- how did it get in?Thru the cockpit drain? I'd put a screen over it while there is a risk of snakes ending up in your bed! And the free diving for the anchor was impressive to say the least. Thx for the video!
Those sea snakes avoid people at all cost. I used to see them plenty while diving off of Okinawa, Japan. If you grab them by the tail and squeeze the air out, they shoot to the surface for more - and sometimes come back down pissed and bite the diver.
That was very kind that u gave the locals $5.00 instead of 1.
That yacht was built in Viareggio, called white gull a 46 m benetti. Second owner rebuild her 49 m n 3 years around the world. Long time ago, I think it was 1987 when I worked as a deckhand.
Just like that I'm caught up! Cool snake, kind of reminded me of a King Snake I kept for a while. What magnificent creatures. Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are living my dream!!
How did the snake get into the boat??
What happened with the huge boat at the beginning of the video?
good to see you kids are still madly in love and having fun together after all these years. Congrats on your 13 years. God sure has blessed you kids...
I was happy to hear you say that you gave that man five dollars for all that fruit. If we'd try to buy that much fruit here in the states it would have been more than five dollars and no where as fresh. I'm sure that man really appreciated that extra four dollars you blessed him with. My heart goes out to them type of people. Growing up we didn't always know when we were going to see our next meal. But God always supplied to where we never went to bed without something in our tummies. And buy you blessing him with the extra cash his family won't have to go without their needs meant. God used you kids to bless his family... BBE....
Happy Anniversary guys. Celebrating such date is cool and chilling out at sea. Take care, stay safe and healthy. God bless 🙏
Don't Know what your sailing plan is but you should get up to Micronesia, Some of the best and my favourite ship wreck diving in the world is in a place called Chuuk lagoon or truck lagoon as the Americans call it. It was an old Japanese Naval base where 100's of ships and planes sunk during world war 2 after America bombed the islands.
Shame to see this yacht aground for so long now. I crewed on her under a previous owner back in the early 90's when it was called White Gull
Here is a google link to see the shipwreck "Blue Gold".

Greetings from Vanuatu. Nice videos.
Happy Anniversary to both of you! Our 30 th. Anniversary is just before Christmas.
Great video as always. Love your channel!!!
Just FYI because you mentioned it, the coral is dying because of rising ocean temps, and most scientists believe this is due to global warming. The coral has a pretty narrow temp range in which it can thrive.
Ok, you got me. I subbed. Did you say you got married in 1999 or you met then? Love your light-hearted attitude to life. The snake probably came up that drain pipe you wanted it to go down. Maybe a mesh plug to stop that happening again. Great vids - Regards
Those villigers shredding her up
gotta love these guys
Happy anniversary guys
