Just showed this to my third grade class before we started our bucket drumming lesson. I asked them to note what others things they hit while playing besides the regular "side, top, rim sticks". They all loved that "tranmission looking" metal piece the guy was hitting as a cowbell, and noted the floor and chair playing. This was a great video. Great vibe and fun to watch. Thanks for sharing.
I am a middle school teacher and want to start a group at my school - gotta get admin approval and other red tape, but this inspires me to finally go for it this coming school year!
my 2nd grade students are fired up! Reminds me of my FSU days at the ethnomusicology lab with the Brazilian ensemble, with Welson Tremura, Bryan Carey, the Duerdens, Nathan.... miss you guys!!!!
The whole performance is great! So for patterns I notice how a few people do a different pattern and then others follow along. Also everytime someone changes up the rythum and does another thing the crowd goes "woooo".
Lastly personally I think that overall, them using the cowbell was great, and using the metal chairs, floor and other things is what makes it so great. Because get creative :D
I think for dynamics they dont have to improve on it because its already good! At some parts they go really quiet and boom they are back at it again with another pattern.
We do this at our school but it's only for middle school since I just started middle school I signed up for our bucket band club a lot of kids also signed up almost the whole class signed up we also have a chorus club no one signed up for that 😂
Just when I get to love it more, it gets better. HT has the best beats
I LOVE drumming. Granted I've only tried a drum kit once in my life but I love the sound it makes in beats like this.
this channel is godtier
If each person had there own "drum brake cover" prop to hit for a quick solo, this could have been insanely addictive to watch again.
i love that the guys in black caps just kinda bounce off eachother! its amazing!!
