I think he put himself in the best possible situation. He's in final four, can just rest through the next immunity, has a good shot at winning the last one and if not worst case is he has to make fire. If he doesn't win it's not for lack of strategy.

There is a ton of players who don't deserve to be considered Legends, and Jesse is a way better player than many of them. So yes, by those standards alone he is a legend without a doubt.

The thing is Jesse needed to take Cody out and put him on the jury because Cody beats him in the end so he makes a big move at final 6 and shows off to the jury then he plays his second idol at final 5 and makes and he only needs to win fire and he wins the game. Legends are not made in a pussy 26 day season. He wouldn’t survive the old Survivor. None of these players from the last wimpy seasons could. Not even Johnathan, that fell apart once individual game started
