This finale is everything that we want to hear from Elgar's Cello Concerto: an almost upbeat but unsettling, definitely haunting (maybe my perception of haunting) movement, with a beautiful melody near the end repeated few times and alternating between the cello and the orchestra, just before the movement powerfully going back to the opening recitative melody of the first movement. Your cello solo gave me goosebumps! This recording truly is unbelievable! Speechless... Thank you for sharing ❤️👏🎶
Inbal Segev , I get pain in my right biceps if I play cello solo for few minutes. I usually use a long endpin. While we use long endpin we tend to lift our right hand more like you do. Is it the reason for my pain ? Or what might be the reason for it ? Please give your tip on this.
hello! I absolutely love your playing and you are so inspiring-you are such an amazing cellist! I also watch your cello masterclasses, and they are incredibly helpful. I am currently working on the Pezzo Capriccioso by Tchaikovsky, and I was wondering if you could post a masterclass for that, if you have the time. it has been quite a difficult piece for me, especially when it comes to the technique. thank you so much!❤️
Matt Kyle thanks for asking(-: not tacky at all and appreciated! You can buy my CD’s on Amazon, iTunes etc. other merch only in live concerts sometimes.
I love how you take this piece just a hair slower than most people. Gives a sense of confidence and nobility.
Thank you dear

@@jahazielsam9212 so cute. Try bicep curls with dumbbells or a barbell. Strength training and proper rest to help with muscle atrophy and damage.
Matt Kyle Thank you, I'll try it.
