The São Francisco da Esperança State Park is within the limits of the municipality of Prudentópolis (although, previously, it was a municipal park of Guarapuava municipalty). The location is -25.066259, -51.295166 - there are also some markings on google maps, and currently the most accurate is "Parque Natural Municipal São Francisco da Esperança - acesso a Salto São Francisco".
From Prudentópolis, the most recommended route is the one of dirt road shown in the video. Starting from Guarapuava, there is a paved road in much of the stretch. Just use the same coordinates as the traffic app will plot the route.
To make the trail to the fall's base, it is mandatory to be accompanied by a local guide. To visit the viewpoint of the waterfall, by the top, and the Cavalheiros fall, it is not mandatory to be with a guide.
In practice, there is no barrier or guard that prevents the descent of those who are not guided, however this can generate a fine to be charged by the IAT (Water and Land Institute from Paraná state).
The park’s current opening hours are Wednesday through Monday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Já fui em uma época de maior volume, não consegui chegar perto da cachoeira, fica bem perigoso. A trilha não é dificil, mas se não tiver preparo fisíco vai sofrer nas subidas da volta, eu sofri kkkk Conheci teu canal agora, tem muita qualidade na produção audiovisual, da pra ver que já foi reporter, merece mais inscritos
