It actually starts flying at 5:00 in case anyone was interested.
He landed that perfectly, that was impressive regardless if is an actual jet or not it is still hard to do.
Awesome video. If there was a camera inside the jet for a cockpit view that would be sick!

Pabluzcu Might do that with an arduino and pan-tilt camera controlled by 2 servos,they would be connected to the accel/gyro on the oculus.That's my idea of it :D
Not an expert, but there would be a lot of latency issues if you pan/tilt the camera, wouldnt it? Considering cameras are small nowadays, I think it would be nice to have like 2 or 3 fixed cameras to cover left-center-right, and you could have them displayed in the oculus like monitors floating in front of your sight, besides flight information of the plane, altitude, speed, battery charge, etc, like a Hud. The more cameras you can put the better, so you could turn your head around and watch the different virtual monitors, like center-low, left-low, right-low, etc. That was my initial thought.

But if you make the camera transmit analog data you don't have the latency anymore because the signal for them is the same from the remote.

Wow, that looks like it might actually have some military uses. Basically a drone able to fly at jet speeds instead of prop driven. Seems very stable in flight.

Steven Bryant Yes, it's quite simple really: have steady hands, or use a tripod. It wasn't moving that fast anyway cretin, not while it's 90 feet in the air above the cameraman.

I love seeing all the money, time and effort these guys put in to making the most realistic replica plane they can. Then learning to fly them like the real thing. Most of all I love watching someone plow one of these things into a field. Watching their dream burn. Awesome.

Great video. Beautiful landing.
Rough looking aircraft, but it flies nicely. I can say from the video it had all the flying mannerisms of a real jet fighter, unlike many RC jets that are frequently jerky. It must be the smooth flying skills of the pilot, he made the jet look real, so kuddos to him.

It says all the Mig 29s (except one) were given to Poland (Not exactly 'Given' but sold for 1 Euro apiece, which equals given away)
The Migs flew for the unified Fatherland for sure. But they were given away 10 years ago.
I told na, I am not sure whether they are still being used today..... It seems that they aren't...
