Great Demis, always nice to see how you make these patches for Dune, I agree with Dream Sequencer, "Dune deserves much more attention" . To my ears it's the best sounding synth going.

The beauty is this technique can be taken much further but the will be for another video sometime.😀

Please make more of these. Dune deserves much more attention. Run some google ads even. In this day and age everything is advertising, sadly.

Wish you guys would make Dune 3 as a Rack Extension for Reason. This is an awesome synth and your stuff integrates beautifully in the Reason rack!

The Sample Oscs are great for choir sounds. Find a well looped choir sample at around C2 to C4. You can then layer the samples in Osc 3 with the VA Oscs. 👍

Hi Demis, thanks so much for these!
I have a question... at 3:35 when you're demonstrating the hard panning of voices 1 & 2, they still sound pretty mono to me. But later (at 7:02) you demo them again and I do hear the hard panning. Why is that?
I just tried duplicating it on my own Dune3 and it does hard pan when I solo voices 1 or 2.

Check the position of the Unison Spread knob at the top right, it differs which is probably the reason (in addition to the Osc Pan knobs).

@@synapseaudio2488 Interesting.. I tried following step by step and I'm getting different results on that one part, but.. no biggie. I almost wonder if it's just a recording issue (i.e. 3:35 _should_ sound hard panned in the video, but it doesn't..). Anyway, all good, my end result sounds as yours does. Great tutorial, thanks again :)

Hi Demis, I am wondering why you don't mirror or change the direction of "you" so you are looking at Dune instead of away from it in the video.
