Remember to turn off that lo-cut (hi-pass) filter and it does sound good.
The Mic 2 (as supplied with the Pocket 3) does connect directly with no receiver to iPhones and Android phones - subject to apps and versions and stuff - but I imagine that to connect a pair, you do need the direct connection from the receiver which you showed.
The last time I connected a lav mic to someone else, it was Dame Edna - and she wore it in her wig! I am one of the few who ever saw her in her underwear. Moving studios - mine is in the process of being moved 50km and up two flights of stairs. Your move seems a bit easier, but anyway, congratulations on the progress! But I digress, as usual...

One question I have the DJI mic 1 if I buy a single transmitter can I charge it in the case I already have and connect to the RX from DJI 1?
Oh I am not sure. They are slightly different size so they may not fit

It also connects to the Insta 360 Ace Pro. I just did a little test and it connects to the Insta 360 X3, too! It was a little choppy, I have play around with it a little more, but it works! It connects via the AirPod setting in the camera.

The DJI Mic 2 has 32bit float internal. Its really hard to beat this.

How does the DJI Mic 2 compare to the Rode Wireless Pro? I was about to order the Rode Wireless Pro, but am unsure of which to get now after the release of the DJI Mic 2. I shoot mainly weddings and vlogs. Thanks!

Interesting product and a solid upgrade from the Mic 1.
For myself, working in production, ill still with the Rode Wireless Pro for the timecode sync and the screw-in lavs. that being said, for content creators and quick jobs, these are so nice! I have loved the Mic 2 with my Pocket 3 for those camera to social media type posts.

Is 32bit float also possible when connecting the receiver to an iPhone? Does the video file of the iPhone contain the 32bit float file or not? I've heard some reviews saying that it doesn't and that 32bit only works when recording internally. That is, I have to synchronize the audio file from the transmitter with the one of the iPhone video. Do you know anything about that?
Thanks for the review! I'm curious how much the charging case supplies to the transmitters. Can you get a whole charge from 2 dead transmitters? How long does the case take to charge? I wonder how these compare to more traditional audio equipment such as the Sennheiser AVX wireless system. Is there a noticeable difference in quality? 🤔
Theres a billion videos doing wireless distance tests that is already advertised as 250 metres. But nobody ever tests the bluetooth distance which definately needs testing.
Would you recommend not getting the creator combo for the pocket 3 and getting this whole setup to use with the pocket cam instead?

They are very very similar. The pro of the DJI is is you have pocket 3 and action 4.

The problem with these radio microphones are the batteries not being replaceable!

What is the distance between the mic and action 4 without receiver? And is this audio rally better thans the audio of the action4 itself? I'm not vlogging. I Just want good audio whilst filming. I Just want to know it is really worth buying
For self audio, the noise cancellation is worth it.
I think if you are a solo type of creater only buy the single one it records 14hours and still uses 32bit and it's only 100 not 250

Is the issue with buzzing sound fixed when a external mic is plugged in ?
Lav, Rode Shotgun mic, etc..
This is my burning question too and the one issue that will determine if I finally make the switch to DJI. I use Countryman lavs and the buzz was horrible like the connection wasn't shielded. Returned my DJI Mic Version 1 the same day.
I plan to sell the v1 in a few months and get the v2, the buzzing is the only thing I hate about them. Plus the 32bit with the v2 is very important to me for events.
Watching your Wireless Pro review makes me more confused. I think Rode did a better job when it cones to Audio quality.
worst skin decision here by dji, glossy, reflective, prone to scratches and to top it of, not stealth AT ALL !!
It may not suit some people. I personally like it but I use the lav mics so the looks don’t really worry me

In relation to another audio product I recently bought, its reflective surface (which I didn't like visually) turned out to be designed to reduce handling and rubbing noises, and it worked. But with the Mic 2, a bit of ordinary black electrical insulation tape fixes any problem with appearance. I believe there is a worldwide shortage of that about to happen!

Hey Jason, I highly recommend you get the Saramonic white lav mic. It sounds great and blends in perfectly with white shirts.
Advice: don’t use hands with peeling nail polish. Bad look. Plain nails would have been better. Great video otherwise.

Hey there! Love your content! As a fellow videographer, audio monitoring is key for me. I've been trying to connect my DJI Pocket 3 or DJI Mic to my bone conduction headphones via Bluetooth while recording for wireless audio monitoring. I've asked around on RUclips and the DJI forum but no luck so far. Any chance you could share a wireless solution? Thanks a bunch!
So now we can get stereo from the internal mics simultaneously recorded with the audio from the Mic 2 - by buying the Mic 2 set and plugging in the receiver to the Pocket 3. I do wish they would fix the bug which collapses the internal audio to mono when using the Mic 2 directly connected. It's really annoying to have to use an external receiver into USB-C to get around this. I've achieved it using a Ulanzi kit... c'mon DJI, let's get your equipment fully compatible! Anyway - it did seem in this excellent video that the mics can't be charged with their dead kittens fitted? Is that true? Bit of a pain if so. (My el cheapo Ulanzi set has the same problem, I have to admit...)
