The lighting on the finals strip for this tournament was great, you can't typically see the foil blades this well. They should definitely do more of whatever they did at this one for future tournaments

@kevinzhou7442 me too! And happy for Foconi. With Cheung being such a tall fencer with an ample reach, and Foconi tending to land more flicking than point touches, Cheung seems to have an advantage. But this time Foconi played a strong parrying game, combined with great distance and timing, to get the win 🇮🇹

Cheung is such a treat to watch--seems to be the most well-rounded high level foilist, especially for a tall fencer. Adaptable and wastes very little actions, giving the appearance of a calm and casual demeanor yet is agile and quick with the blade. Cool to see Foconi finally overcoming Cheung in a close match.
