I don't understand why Londoners didn't want that garden bridge. That was an awesome idea and I'm sure it would have been very nice in the end with plenty of tourists traveling to London to check it out especially after all that money was spent that ended up being wasted so it might as well have been completed. I know I would've been one of those people who would've traveled to see it and I know I can't be the only one!
I love the creative idea of The World in Dubai and it's too bad it never got finished but I can't imagine they'd have an easy time finding people rich enough to buy all those homes that were planned for construction.
Sagrada Familia certainly is no fail. Millions and Millions of tourists had gone to spain to see this cathedral/construction site and will do this for many years to come.
That's right. It has a unique design. In the middle ages it was not unusual for cathedrals to take over a century to build. In the 20th century Liverpool's Anglican cathedral took 74 years to build.
While I always appreciate the creativity and engineering that goes into these buildings, some of these are just such a head shaker, with not millions, but billions of dollars going to waste. Wow……I had completely forgot about the Super Conducting Super Collider in Waxahachie Texas. I was just a kid at the time and was actually pretty fascinated with it, not understanding any of the sciences. Now that I’m grown up, I’m glad that wasn’t completed. That’s too much power dwelling into the unknown too close to home. I’m in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and from what I have read up on CERN, this would have been even more powerful and from what I’ve learned, any error when running that machine could have consequences beyond our understanding. They used to throw underground (lol literally) parties/raves in the tunnels back in the days after the project was cancelled. I never made it to one but heard about them. Awesome Video. Definitely has a sense of nostalgia to it.

With over a billion in population, i get shocked anytime i see a patch of green grass or a tree in China & India. They aren't huge countries in land mass & hearing a "billion", which really means more as i doubt everyone in India esp is calculated into the census. Seeing an area of green in either country is a bit weird but seeing these "cities" & "housing districts" is upsetting to think that where these areas are built was actual greenery for steel to take over for no one to move there. But apparently China & India are "developing nations", the re named 3rd world countries, so they get away with wasting their billions in ruining the environment & overpopulating the planet. It's amazing that 2 of the richest nations on the planet are classed as an "developing nation".

The architect's design had a number of continuous steel cables coming down from the roof, with each walkway attached to the cables. Somewhere along the line this got changed into steel cables from the roof which supported the top walkway and separate cables attached to the underside of the top walkway which supported the bottom walkway. This meant that the attachments of the top walkway to the roof cables had to support the weight of both walkways, which they were never designed to do.

Well anyone would've thought that I'd slaughtered whole families. I had nasty comments flung at me left, right & centre. All i had done was type a tongue in cheek, smart arse, joke of a comment because the "I'm first" community piss me off no end & ur 100% right about their maturity level. So these days u aren't even allowed to joke around in the comment section about the "firsts" community as they take their community very seriously. Also not having a sense of humour has taken over the world & if u don't write lol or don't have an 🤣 then u are facing the firing squad directly front on without a sack over ya head!

Try getting someone that can speak English. At least they might be able to pronounce 'River Thames' correctly instead of making a complete hash of it. I won't be watching any more of your video's. I can get better comedy elsewhere........

The original design of the Hyatt Regency walkway was perfectly safe. The problem occurred because the design was modified.
The design wasn't modified, it was built incorrectly and the structural engineer did not catch the mistake.
