    Most people didn't realize LeBron has been playing a smoke and mirror game for a couple years now. He takes nights off against the good teams or bad match ups for him. Then stat pads against bad teams or weak match ups. My only problem with LeBron being the best ever is that he holds all the negative stat records too. Most missed shots, Most turn over, etc. Plus the jumping from team to team. End of the day he is one of the best to do it and the league will miss him when he is gone.

    He’s not the goat. Not even close. He’s quit on his team far too many times to be in that convo. Also the man hasn’t played defense in a decade. Thats just not goat material. Just tells me you clearly aren’t old enough to have seen MJ play because there’s no world where you’d pick LeBronze over MJ in a pickup game. Not unless you want him to walk off the court before the game even ends if they’re losing. That’s who he is. He needed to team hop and still got the crap beat out of him in the finals four damn times. MJ never disappeared in a series let alone the finals like LeBronze did. Every advanced analytic points to MJ. It’s not close. If ur were the goat people would watch him, but they don’t. He’s been in two or three of the lowest rated finals since they started broadcasting finals games live. Further proof he’s not the goat. If he were people would watch but they couldn’t even be bothered to watch the bubble scrimmage when everybody was locked in their houses with nowhere to go and nothing to do. But sure he’s the goat. Lebron's teams have been hiding his terrible effort on defense ever since the bubble championship. He usually "guards" (I'm using this term extremely losely, I mean "he is assigned to guard") the weakest offensive player of the opposing team and even then he often gives no effort and has to get bailed out by help defense and/or by Davis effectively guarding 2 players near the basket. And no, the "but he has to play with a terrible bench unit"-defense that Lebron stans will always trot out doesn't hold water, when Lebron is actually playing alongside mostly bench players he is also facing mostly bench players - which is when he does most of his stat padding on the offensive end.

I sometimes feel there is an unspoken agreement that LeBron will get uncontested rebounds or that he will take some shots in garbage time in the name of legacy building. I agree that he is an all time great but late in his career his “elite play at his age” sort of feels forced.

  • @CanditoTrainingHQ
    @CanditoTrainingHQ 8 дней назад +1

    He's not a top 30 player now. You underestimate how the NBA works. The Lakers score 15 more points per 100 possesions without him on the floor, and their +- is also better without Lebron on the floor (Lebron is -111). This always happens to washed stars. He's a genuine net negative. They have weirdly good stats, but the team suffers. Because the pace, strategy, and defense all become massively held back. There is a hole on the team that requires the old him because he crafted that. Value wise, I'd rather have an amazing role player like Draymond at this point.

    @5:55 I would love to hear your arguments for LeBron being the greatest without spewing any of the typical fanboy tropes. The guy flops on a regular, can’t shoot free throws (now threes too apparently), needs to be surrounded by superstars and be on ‘super teams’ to get a whiff of the playoffs, cries foul for every play that doesn’t go his way, can only function and perform to peak within the LeSystem, lazy on defense, has no bag/go-to move, quits, always shifts blame, never holds himself accountable, he’s inconsistent, lost more playoffs than he’s ever won, not known as a clutch player/go-to guy, lackluster ball handling, travels and carries a lot… These things and more (ain’t no party like a Diddy party!) disqualifies him from being anywhere near the likes of MJ, Kobe, Kareem, etc. He’s not a good team leader at all. Have you ever watched an Angry Old Hoops game breakdown analysis of Lakers games with LeBron on the floor? Maybe you should. Take those blinders off and maybe you’ll see LeBron for the fraud he is.

Like every great player, his career has had it's own unique characteristics, longevity being one that most stands out, and 8 straight Finals appearances is amazing also (notwithstanding his losing Finals record). But according to advanced metrics, MJ had the best 5 year prime score by far and above anyone else, including Lebron. MJ simply accomplished more in less time than Lebron and at the highest level on both ends of the floor consistently. And now, the Lakers are talking about load managing Lebron again!? I like your channel but there is no reality were lebron james is the best basketball player. He has NEVER even come close to Jordan's achievements, and no a scoring title means nothing in an Era of inflated stats and children half his age. The only thing he should be regarded for is his longevity and consistency which is just as important as playing ability. MJ had a a scoring title and DPOY at the same time in consecutive years in a tougher NBA. And don't even try to compare him to Kobe... it's disrespectful.

    Father Time has beeen catching up to him since he got to LA. I’ve been watching LeBron play my entire life and I know when he is at his best. His athletic best was in Miami, after winning a championship with Cleveland, it’s been down hill. It’s just that his decline was slower and not as steep as others. It’s been obvious he’s been in decline as his defensive effort has suffered a lot, he has not been the lebron I know who would always get a chase down block and who was unstoppable attacking the paint and as a result he’s been taking more 3 pointers, his field goal percentage has been dropping. He’s even taken a scoring step back, playing through Davis more. LeBron is just not as effective scoring the ball and on the defensive side as he once used to be. Right now, I’d say he is 60% the player he was back in his prime.
    I don’t care what LeBrons critics and haters say, but they cannot deny he’s been an all time great level player and a top player in this league far longer than other all time greats could have been
