They keep saying he’s playing like he’s still in his 20s and he’s still top 5 in the league. But he’s clearly declining . The lakers are playing 4v5 for 3/4 quarters. His high scoring games come at the expense of AD and the rest of the team because he takes 25 shots and plays 0 defense. The “he’s old” excuse doesn’t work cous IF he’s old then he doesn’t need to be taking the most shots every game and playing 35 mins a night. These have been issues since before Darvin Ham got there but y’all acted like he was the sole rzn for them underperforming when he literally got them to a conference finals. What ruined the NBA: LeBiogenesis James.
Magic and Bird - RIVALRY saved the NBA. Rivalry and competition being the key.
Then MJ had to battle and overcome, so did Kobe who wanted to prove himself without Shaq. We saw Iverson give everything he had every night dragging himself on the court.
Then enter LeBron. Refusal to compete or to expand and improve his game - basically the same player as he was in highschool - football player on a basketball court with all power and very limited actually basketball skills. Ways LeBiogenesis cheated the game:
    No dunk contest
    Super teams
Buying the media to make excuses and lower the standard of the NBA
    Removing competition
    Steroids and PEDs
Making participation trophies cause you can’t win
    Crowning yourself “goat”
Bum son in the league making it fake
Buying the NBA media who used to represent fans but now makes excuses for a bad product and tries to lower the standard
    Klutch running the league
Acting above competition cause you are afraid to compete
    Entitled diva attitude
    Coach killer
    Sitting out national tv games
It started with acting above the dunk contest cause he was scared he couldn’t win. That was when his ego became more important than the game and the fans.
The super teams took the entitlement to the next level and saying you are “the goat”.
NBA media used to represent NBA fans and hold players to account. That’s how the regular media is supposed to work too - just like the regular media collapsed into a joke that lies for the rich and powerful to exploit us - the NBA media are fanboys who want to be buddies with LeBron and the NBA’s rich and powerful aka LeBron and Rich Paul - and they know if they don’t lie they will be black balled - this creates a toxic feedback loop just like trump and Fox News. The NBA today is basically fox and friends for dictator LeBron. He watches it and says he will get people fired the same way as trump.
Remember LeBalco sat out a Lakers Vs Celtics TNT game to try to embarrass Darvin Ham and got AD to sit out too and the Lakers won without them - then the broadcast announcers tried to credit LeBron with coaching the team to the win as they started to win and LeBalco jumped up and faked excitement - fraud.
Oh then he came back the next night to stat pad against a G-League injury depleted Memphis team.
Adam Silver helped this too - he is from NBA marketing so he comes up with gimmicks rather than actual make the sport better. He saw the NFL get more offense and he thought that would be good for him too. Also after the “malice at the palace” they wanted a “softer NBA” - they took it WAY too far.
Legislated defense out of the game and this coupled with LeBron taking competition out on the player side - Silver taking it out on the league side - and analytics nerd GMs deciding every team should just have a 3 point shootout every night cause they don’t understand the sport or human beings and think they “hacked the game” they hacked the ratings away. These 3 factors together have ruined the NBA.
Also Silver seeing ratings down - his answer is gimmicks - play in, NBA Cup, now ALLSTAR game gimmicks, that’s how marketing people see the world - gimmicks to fool people rather than just sell a good product people actually want.
Baseball had analytics nerds ruin their sport - they had to ban the defensive shift and institute a pitch clock to fix it.
Players emulate the best player - Magic and Bird caring SO much about winning spawned MJ to “want to fit in a place with those guys” - he said that when he won his first title. Also getting 6 cause Magic had 5. The Kobe’s quest for 6.
Who says Kobe is bad cause he got 5 and not 6 - no one.
If you listen to Kobe or Michael Jordan talk, you realize they are extremely extremely confident, but they’re not narcissist they love competition and they give credit to their competition when they feel their competition is worthy. They NEVER made excuses for losing and the media blamed THEM!!!!!!
LeBron now pays the media to blame role players and spin a narrative that he is so great he is ENTITLED to win EVERY NBA title - or if he doesn’t it’s the role players fault, or the organizations fault cause he didn’t have enough help - or the coach, even tho LeBron is supposed to be the highest IQ player ever he can’t ever have ANY coach or teammate stick with him for more than a few seasons.
His entitled attitude filters down to younger players - they think stats make them good cause LeBron has minimized winning. “Ring culture” exists in EVERY sport - this generation of NBA players are lazy entitled divas who don’t wanna compete. Rather not try than try and fail.
Cause they believe their own propaganda- starting with LeBalco and it’s led the NBA off a cliff. LeBron inspires these guys to not play defense, flop, cry, and overrate themselves.
The NBA should of promoted Tatum and Brown this summer at the Olympics - the current champs - instead Brown wasn’t on the team and Tatum didn’t play and 40 year old stat padding LeBron almost cost the team the gold medal then he got a fake MVP he didn’t deserve - all this prostituting the Olympics cause he can’t win an NBA title even in this watered down NBA.
They changed the CBA to STOP LeBron from making super teams cause it was so bad for the league.
MJ made “player empowerment” - he gave players revenue streams outside of the team with shoes and other endorsements.
LeBron made “player entitlement” and “fan disempowerment” - on his watch acting like a diva and padding stats are the measure of greatness - not winning. Not any team success….
It’s cheapened and watered down the entire league. MJ pushed the league forward - LeBron hurt the league - prostituting it for his ego to push himself forward while hurting the league and the game - cheating it his entire career - when you are the face of a sport what you do filters down. Being a super diva narcissist and acting above competition has filtered down. And it’s killed the league for the fans.
Maybe after team USA gets dusted in the next Olympics they will change - but it’s gonna take something like that cause they got paid and went from “plumbers and firemen” who loved the game so much they played for peanuts and worked hard blue collar jobs - where these guys make more money and have the best medicine and nutrition and are so out of shape they can’t play defense or load manage a third of the games

cristiano ronaldo age 39 still plays 90 mins every games in a much more physically demanding sport where you have to sprint every single actions and no time out /“let me have a seat for 5 mins”.

@@TheEliteFox Agreed, not a fair comparison. LeBron is playing in the best basketball league in the world while Ronaldo is playing in the Saudi Pro League, which I imagine is the basketball equivalent of LeBron playing for the Chinese Basketball Association.
Also, the guy's numbers are off. Soccer players run roughly 6.5 miles per game while basketball players run 2.5 miles per game. Obviously still a discrepancy, but nowhere close to his claim that soccer players run 9 miles more per game than basketball players.
And then like you said, basketball is physically taxing in ways soccer is not. It requires 250+ lbs men to constantly jump, start, stop, and change direction at breakneck speed.
Yes, basketball games are shorter, played indoors, and there are more stoppages, time outs, substitutions, and commercial breaks than soccer. Still doesn't make LeBron's longevity any less impressive than Ronaldo's longevity, in my opinion.

10:03 THAT is how LeBron has cheated the game - he paid the media to lower the standard from winning to padding stats and being a diva. That toxic entitlement has filtered down and ruined the NBA.
Every sport has its thing that makes it great and unique.
The NFL has regulated violence and is the ultimate team sport where you truly cannot do anything by yourself. Baseball is a very unique game where sometimes skill beats athleticism and it’s truly a team game.
Hockey has violence like football, but it’s also fast and has a mixture of technical skill and force of football and basketball.
The NBA and basketball are the sport where the one star and the best player impact winning the most and carry the most responsibility. It’s also the sport where the star plays the most and plays offense and defense. We praise NBA stars as the best athletes because they have the most responsibility for winning and take the biggest fall when they lose.
This is the aspect that made Magic Johnson and Larry Bird and Isaiah Thomas and Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant after him great. This is what they embraced. This is what LeBron has cheated the most in the game and it’s the thing that made basketball great.
Caitlin Clark has it and those girls are HUNGRY- the NBA has the LeNarcissist entitlement problem filtered down.
Too soft and entitled to compete. Too entitled to care about winning. Toxic feedback loop between fanboy propagandists masquerading as NBA media - who just kiss players ass rather than hold them accountable for the FANS!!!!
No one there cares about fans AT ALL! This is the problem.

When LeBron used his golden parachute and retires it'll leave the Lakers in a very bad position. And I can't wait to see it happen.

    • @penkima4923
      @penkima4923 14 часов назад

Bad position? LeBron demanded a max contract this summer, so the Lakers couldn't alter their roster in any way. And LeBron is playing below all-star level at the moment. After LeBron retires the Lakers will be able to acquire a superstar, who would instantly make them back to a contender again. Or two other minor stars.

      @nicholasblakiston6297 13 часов назад

The hate is crazy. I can't think of any explanation other than jealously considering he's doing things no one's done at his age. He was better than anyone's been at 18, is better than anyone's been at 39, is averaging almost a triple double and the Lakers are in the thick of it in one of the toughest conferences ever. It's a society of sad jealous haters who try to diminish greatness because they have no hope of achieving it themselves. It's partly the fault of a government that destroys opportunities for greatness and partly the fault of a people-pleasing norm where people feel like they have to diminish others to feel better about their own sad lives.

He doesn’t play defense, he often stands around on offense when he doesn’t have the ball YET he’s somehow exhausted and tired
JJ out there trying to say LeDiddy is working/playing too hard to be able to play 82 games
It’s HILARIOUS how all them plumbers on the 80s/90s had no issue playing 40+ minutes a game AND 82 games a season PLUS THE PLAYOFFS
