  • During my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) #dpt #physiotherapy #clinicalrotations rotation at NIRM Hospital, I gained invaluable hands-on experience in the field of physical therapy. This rotation allowed me to apply my theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios, working closely with patients to help them recover from injuries, improve mobility, and manage chronic pain. Under the supervision of experienced therapists, I learned various techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education. This rotation strengthened my clinical skills, enhanced my understanding of rehabilitation, and deepened my passion for helping others through physical therapy. The diverse cases I encountered helped me grow both professionally and personally, preparing me for a future career as a physical therapist.
Best Response to Being Called a “Malshi”:
If someone refers to you as a “malshi” (which can imply a less respectful term for a therapist), you can respond with confidence and grace:
    Response:
“I understand there might be misconceptions about physical therapy, but as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), my role is to help patients improve their quality of life through scientific, evidence-based treatments. Just like any medical professional, we assess, diagnose, and create tailored treatment plans to help patients regain their mobility and live pain-free. Our work is essential in rehabilitation and recovery, and we take pride in helping people lead healthier lives.”
