ICorrectGrammar I did to. He’s really cool. When I was walking somewhere with my tenor drums on, he just went up to me and said that the harness I was wearing (one of those airframe harnesses with soft padding) was his favorite type of harness. Later I mentioned go Joseph and he got a little annoyed. More in a friendly way though, like a friend told him a cringey joke.
t decided to delete it because he snuck into disneyland and people who worked at disneyland saw it and told the managers or supervisors or whatever and they decided to not let him into the disneyland drumline
Lonin what is something you would recommend on getting better. I have trouble with reading music. But I have good chops I’m self taught. However me being self taught has allowed me to pick bad habits. I can’t play certain things and sometimes the thing I play don’t sound precise. Any thing that can help would be much appreciated
If none of these methods seem right to you, you could get some sort of old music and play along with the drumline of that year, but as you do so, watch their techniques, take note of their rhythmic notation and accuracy and of course be as clean as possible, if you see or hear something they’re doing that you aren’t, record yourself doing it and view the recording of you, then them, then yourself again.
people act like sight reading is hard smh...
* nervous sweating *
Judges/Instructors: "Play something"
Alan Aungst: "Aight, bro" *crazy BD lick
Dang. That practice room made me realize how under-prepared I would be if I tried to audition now.
Of course The Mouse won’t let you record the audition. He’ll sue you.
Hey I know Joseph! I met him at blue devils family day

Try playing everything very slowly in order to analyze your form and develop better sound quality when going faster
get private instruction, and they will evaluate your bad habits and fix that
