- Welcome to the Wastelands and to my 2nd run of this amazing game!
I had finished my first ever playthrough of Fallout 4 in 2021 and ever since wanted to go for another round. My friend and I modded* it this time to enhance the graphics, fix bugs and add a few quality of life features.
I intend to have a relatively thorough playthrough, so these videos might be a bit all over the place. (sorryyyy)

Some mods we exchanged with others, sometimes I just chose another skin than recommended in the guide. We left out all the mods that were changing mechanics or gameplay and had to do some patching afterwards.

Yes a true ending for a battle against evil. It is a real shame for the issues with the Brotherhood of Steel but you had to do what you had to do. I am glad that you are enjoying it and I can't wait to see your next stream.

Railroad initially seemed like Number 2 choice for me,but I dunno.
In lights of growing AI concerns in real life,I started to wonder.
Sure AI beings can be cool ,like my Bro Connor from masterpiece called Detroit Become Human ,but all you need is 1 line of code to change and you have a problem.
They are rewriting Institute programs,release synthetics into wilderness afterwards and hope for the best without taking any responsibility.

Speaking of responsibility,at least when Institute rewrites them they monitor them in controlled environment.
After they wipe their memory.

Well Railroad does it as well.
But kidnapping people is a MASSIVE problem.
Why I destroyed them first time.

The Brotherhood has noble goals,but their methods can be...ganglike.
Well player can annoy their quartermaster by using good Samaritan methods of bringing Brotherhood and Commonwealth people together,so it's hardly a problem .
Destroying them just because Minuteman think it's the right thing to do is NOT an option IF guided by real life logic and ideals.
Brohood is keeping muties and ferals in check.
Indirectly working with/for Minuteman.
And are of no significant danger for the people of the Commonwealth under the rule of Minuteman.
They might ask all the power armor and energy weapons for themselves,but other than that,they aren't realistic threat.
The only reason to destroy them would be fun quest.

After multiple playthroughs and siding with each side these are my preferences for many reasons.
4th Place Railroad
3rd place Minuteman(Because they ask Brotherhood destroyed,otherwise they would be 2nd)
2nd Place
Brohood of Steel(they don't ask Minuteman to be destroyed)
1st place/Canon
The Institute
Why?
2 Key reasons
a)
As the new acting Director you can reshape them into something much better.
It wouldn't go over night and it might require their existing security personnel purged(as well as Zimerman if he survived Fallout 3),but once dust settles a new better future can slowly , but surely become a thing.
Regaining trust of the people of the Commonwealth would be a monumental undertaking,but NOT impossible.
b) and possibly even more important,does Commonwealth really need even more Nuclear Radiation?
Also how many people would be obliterated in that explosion ?
I'm not trying to argue with your opinions at all. We all had our own personal opinions that we took away from the game.
I couldn't run with the railroad, due to Desdemona. To me, I started thinking that she cared way too much more about synths than she actually cared about people.
Especially once she started talking about "hate from the people of the commonwealth".
Again, that's only my personal viewpoint, and I don't share it to try to argue.

Started Far Harbor today, videos come out tomorrow.
Nuka World depends on how fast I will be done with Far Harbor, I want to check out the AVATAR game on Dec. 7th.

It's a machine that looks like young Shaun and supposedly thinks like 1.
He knows Player is his mother because he knows it.
It's been programed into him to believe player is his mother.
It shall never ever grow up.
Forever remain a kid.
I suppose he might become intellectual developed over time,but his body shall never grow.
But I do understand sentimentality .
Once or twice I brought him with me.
Usually I leave him behind.
In the Railroad ending,I don't think you can leave him behind for pretty obvious reasons.
I mean, kids really ARE supposed to outlive their parents. But not by like... 200 years or so.
And still not be kids, when they do it.
