I love her voice but for me I'd like to see this band go more alternative metal. I think it would fit her voice better. I'd also like to see more of Cammie cutting loose in the faster parts. That's personal preference.
@@philipperinguette3370 I listened to thrash long before most women. I like different types of metal. I guess more than anything I'd want to see Cammie let loose.
I had never heard of this band until I saw this video, and it made me go check their previous work, and I gotta say they're the most AMAZING thing I've heard in many years!
I'll be working my way back through their back catalogue. So classy though. So much class. I feel like I need to put on a suit and tie to listen to these guys. I can't wait for The Banished Heart. The album Winter is amazing, with doom epics, catchy goth tracks, a couple lullabies, a bluesy country feeling song, and dat Moody Blues cover. Sharp, elegant and fucking swank.
L Galicki Band look up Jinjer while you're at it! The singer of that band has a beautiful voice just like the singer if this band. Only difference is the singer of Jinjer does amazing growls too!
Checked out this band a few months ago because I am a Straight Line Stitch fan & a friend told me if I like SLS, I should check out Oceans Of Slumber. I'm not sure how I am JUST now finding out about this band, but I have been missing out. Love them!!
I just saw this band live for the first time last night. I've never heard them before, but I became a fan very quickly. This song live was absolutely amazing. Her voice is incredible.

Cozy Powell meets Vinnie Colaiuta on drums,,,, my god what a monster drummer, there is just nothing to critique about this band every song I've listened to thus far is amazing, Great Great Great musicianship all around and Cammie.......oh my
I'm normally a fan of "cleaner" sounding guitars but this band is a huge exception to that. The sludgier guitars contrast Cammie's vocal style perfectly.
I fucking LOVE this. So glad I got to see them live last night. One of the very few bands to give me such an intense emotional reaction. 🤘My new addiction, as if I needed another one.
I checked their previous album and I thought it was okay but I'm gonna have to check out this one cause the single sounds dope. And I feel like buying a ticket to see them live cause lead singer sounds great.
I have no friends that would care, no one will know how amazing I find this song. Just a mentally disabled drain on the system. But this song and band are so incredible, that I'll still shout out into the void. Also, they way this whole bands moves, with a cool swaying doom absorbed in the music, the drummer sliding across his instrument like a waterfall over rapids, and this beautiful sensual singer moving in haunting captivating sensual ways. There is a massive chemistry in this band on display in this video, reminds me of Neurosis in a way, the way they work as a unit. But the way this beautiful lady moves is captivating and arousing. Not that anyone would care what I think, or see this comment. Anyway, I'm too busy letting friends and family down everyday. Their disappointment they must feel. They must wonder what I do all day. Do my family and friends get their minds blown every day by science and music, and on the same day get crushed under the weight of emotion and eternal depression. Ah well, every day I put off suicide is another day I could discover a band like this. But as they say, if a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear or see it, does anyone even care, did the tree even exist? Oh well, at least if I do leave this earth, I have planted many trees in my lifetime, some are now 30 years old, and perhaps 30 meters tall. And trees live their life without even knowing that they ever lived.
This record comes from a place that isn't so dissimilar from what you've mentioned. Something of a pursuit and longing for acknowledgment or acceptance. Life's little battles make it worth fighting. Thank you for your kind words Tree.
I'm sitting in stunned silence right now, a worthy reply escapes me. This incredible song spoke to me in a personal way at a difficult time in my life, and your reply is like a life raft, so that I may again one day float freely in the ocean. I see you have toured in the past with Enslaved, and NeObliviscaris who are from Melbourne, an hour away from my home town. I discovered NeObliviscaris in a tiny corner pub about 5 years before they even released their first album, and I saw Enslaved live in Melbourne not too long ago. I swear upon every tree I have planted, I'll be there right in front of the stage if you ever come down Melbourne, you're guaranteed a big enthusiastic crowd in one of the most liveable cities on the planet. Massive respect to all of you that tour so hard. I can't even begin to fathom the hard work, long hours, and exhaustion that goes into metal band tours these days. I wish you all success in the future, and I'll remember you folks whenever times are tough, and hopefully one day get to see you guys live. I raise this glass of scotch in gratitude, a toast to all those that suffer yet survive and a toast to all those blessed souls out there that help us all live one more day, on day at a time. I'm forever losing the battle, but I am not defeated yet. Not today. One more day. Here's to life, love and metal forever; cheers, prost, sláinte, kanpai, salut, and bottoms up you cunts, raise a toast and raise a cone to Cornwell, Dimebag, Peter Steele and Hail Vinland. Much Love From Ballarat to Sean, Anthony, Keegan, Dobber, Beau and of course Cammie, so expressive and exquisite.
The climax of this song is fucking phenomenal. I love when you can hear the Insect Warfare influence of the drummer and guitarist shine through in their mostly Doom-tinged songs. Definitely looking forward to hearing more from this release.
