This is a very different but also very interesting Reborn/revenge-plot costume production - both in terms of storyline and untraditional ending. Acting wise this might not win any prizes but the actors do a good job. Despite it being short, it never feels rushed. I liked this strong/adamant FL who used her rebirth the right way. This is definitely well worth watching. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is a Queen who entered a peace marriage with the Emperor 7 years ago to help him seize the throne and put down the rebellion. But 3 years ago she gave birth alone while the Emperor entertained himself with other women. An 6 months ago, the Emperor believed a scheming concubine when she claimed FL hurt her child, having her sent to the Cold Palace. Now she dies all alone, wishing she would have never become his wife and Queen. But instead of dying, FL’s spirit gets attached to ML and can’t seem to leave. Nobody can see her but she is able to see how, unaware of her death, her husband goes on with his life seemingly without caring about FL at all. When he several months later finally realizes her death, she gets a chance to be reborn, but now she is in the body of a Palace maid who was beaten to death the night before, making it possible for FL’s soul to enter. Well, spoiling too much, this has a satisfying ending.

The ending was not to my personal liking: The Emperor was still selfish to the end. Personally, as the new empress, I would marry someone else and let my child inherit the dumbass Emperor's throne. How's that for payback.
So we suppose to believe he did a complete 360, from hating, locking her up then neglecting her, never once getting a report on how she was, so she dies alone and he doesn't find out till a month or so later, then suddenly acting like he loved her. Probably only had something to do with the fact that everyone else seemed to have loved her as their queen, and he wanted that popularity to rub off on to himself. Silly story, was hoping it would have been abit funnier, with her ghost being able to disrupt his life and cause him embarrassing moments in public, and to end up getting him kicked out as revenge.
The king is so stupid. Do t deserve to be a king. Can u at least investigate on your own b4 make judgement especially towards someone u love.. ops sorry if towards someone u dont love treat her like a human being who deserve fair trial.
The first 30min of this movie , show men as selfish , arrogant and stupid as.. and more power they have , more they lead by fear and less humble and dignifying they are .
