This is a nice In-novel costume production with decent actors and a storyline that might be rather basic, but at least it’s short. I liked this sweet/kind FL and calm/dedicated ML. I did find that FL didn’t resemble a modern day woman after transmigration, but the story is quite lighthearted and easy to watch. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is a modern day woman who buys a book. Inside is a banknote. Feeling lucky, FL reads the novel of an ancient woman, a Palace maid, who was bullied, drugged and raped by a guard - ending up being beaten to death. Suddenly, FL is pulled into the novel. FL wakes up in the midst of being slapped. She soon realizes that she is now in the body of this pitiful Palace maid, about to be raped and killed. So, she quickly changes strategy, fooling the guard into believing she is interested - and then knocks him out with a vase. Still drugged, she stumbles away, only to run into a stranger that is injured. Her only choice is to use him to detoxify. Not knowing who she actually spent the night with, FL takes him in while he recovers and goes on with the day to day life in the Palace. But when the guard is beaten to death and other things start to happen, she wonders why the plot of the novel seems to have changed. Well, not spoiling too much, this has a very happy ending.
I thought the FL was quite insipid and was bullied half of the time. It was only because of the ML’s protection why she survived. On another note, anyone else notice that after she was rescued by the emperor from being strangled to death she put her hands on his mouth, the same hands that had been cleaning shit buckets 😐
A feel GOOD time travel movie, done at low budget..the actor seem very calm and composed...there are no emotions attached to their acting..the FL doesn't resemble any modern woman, in thought or actions..from an embroidery girl spending a night with the emperor to becoming the queen, she takes life very easily and is always rescued by the king..A happy ending occurs*_
lol was a cute short drama though i don't normally watch the short ones i didn't notice lol and was sad it just ended as i wanted more but was a fun ride!
You can be from the future you would still need to respect the rules of the society you find yourself in. Particularly societies where class is supreme.
I love that plot line, esp when the family can stay together because she marries the adopted brother. I'd also like to see it done the opposite--3 sisters, 1 brother. :)
