Super helpful, thanks! I used to be excellent at performing this when I was a younger kid and had it mastered even on ps1. Now that I’m a bit older, it is hard for me in these older games maybe because my coordination is not as good or I’m not as quick? I’m going to practice more in training. It’s easy in the modern games to do these moves but not in Turbo!

Inputs definitely need to be more precise in older games. Keep at it!

hi. i just saw your match with Justin Wong. both of you are amazing players. subscribed to your to channel to learn more about Zangief tatics.
i have a question for you, if you don't mind. okay, i used to play ssf2 like more than 10 years ago and i could do the pile driver just fine. now i'm back into playing again and i just can't play with Zangief like before. everytime i try to execute the pile driver i end screwing the whole thing.
do you think i lost my way back there? i'm playing everyday and can't seem to be improving that much.
    thank you.

Hi, thanks for the subscribe! Are you talking about the regular 360 pile driver or the 720 one? Also, are you using a joystick? I have a video explaining how to do the 360. It's just timing and isn't really that hard. You don't need to do the full 360. Just a 270 is enough.

@@vodkagobalsky i was talking about the regular 360 pd. and i'm using a controller dpad. i just saw the video you mentioned. it's really useful and i'm glad i met you and your channel. gonna practice that 270 pd as soon as i can.
funny thing is i started to play sf2 in 1993 or something, but i was never a pro player. you can imagine how old i am. lol.
      cheers mate! thank you again.

@@V01Dl355 You're probably about the same age as me haha. I was never great at it back then either. I only started really getting back into it like 4-5 years ago when I found it on Fightcade. As I discovered more of the community, I started getting more and more into it. If you're using a 360 pad, I would advise against using the analog stick. Ideally, you'd want to play on a stick if you plan on sticking with the game. You can find some pretty reasonably priced used sticks on facebook marketplace. The reason I recommend stick is if you ever plan on playing this game offline, it will most likely be on a stick if they're on cabs. But you can definitely play gief just fine with a D-pad. I used to play it with SNES and PS3 pad.

@@vodkagobalsky you are absolutely right about the arcade stick. i remember playing sf2 on arcades and nail it everytime. then i bought my first snes and things were different but i could manage alright... in fact i got even better playing on a dpad. but then in 2009 i stoped playing... came back in 2019 and i was surprised to see how bad i was... lol. i think i lost my touch... idk.
but is ok for me, i love street fighter franchise and no matter how bad i am now, i will keep playing.

I know, I’m being biased and it’s just my opinion but I swear to god! Épée fencing and I mean the real thing is way much easier than any fighting game whatsoever! 😝
