KR Puram gained prominence with the IT boom in the late 90s. Earlier known for housing government organizations, this neighbourhood started attracting techies due to its strategic location. And thus began the journey of KR Puram’s transformation into a real estate hotspot.
Krishnarajapuram, or KR Puram, is situated at the junction of two significant stretches- the Old Madras Road (OMR) and the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in the eastern periphery of the city. There are many clinics in KR Puram. Additionally, residents can also access leading hospitals like Columbia Asia, Manipal Hospital, Apollo Cradle Maternity & Children’s Hospital, Hope and Vydehi Multi-Speciality Hospital, which are at a maximum distance of 10 km from here.
