The behind the scenes for the logo painting was really cool. I assumed that it was all stenciled but I didn't expect the stencil to be just the outlines. Watching the freehand filling of the colors was super satisfying.
When someone has passion for what they do, anything can be made interesting and fun to watch...🤩 Thanks for make lawn care and watch grass grow.., exciting...🎉✨💖👍
highly underrated channel, worked on a golf course for 6 years and have always had soft spot for grass LOL, keeping working with cleetus and your channel will TAKE OFF! love the videos
That north bridge Bermuda is absolutely amazing when I did the track walk vip its so soft I've never felt grass that soft I was telling my daughter and niece to feel this grass if I ever get the money I will definitely want that grass it didn't feel like grass it felt like a soft blanket
Love the content bud! When you got involved in the freedom factory I started following and have enjoyed your videos and perspective! Keep up the great work!
Are you going to add an injection system to the irrigation to spoon feed the turf to keep up with all the activity? Looking forward to the robot mower installation on such a large active area. Hoping that a irrigreen setup is in the Freedom factory future. It would be a great showcase for their system and could reduce the water usage considerably.
I love mowing.. it's therapeutic for me when I did Lawn care my favorite piece of equipment was a 52 in pistol grip Exmark walk behind. The grass looked so good I always made sure I had sharp blades. The company had us useing wright mowers but I preferred the walk behind
I own a campground in WV I take care of 50 acres of grass and I use a 62 inch snapper walk behind I've had since 2012. I also have a club cadet ride on but it can't get out of its own way on the hills. Walk behinds cut the backs so well and leaves a great cut.
As a 7 or 10 years old my dad had a reel mower (NOT powered at ALL) form when we moved from CA. We moved TO Ohio - blades were NEVER sharpened, fully manual, living in an are with a creek that did flood over the years and we could find fossils of coral = GREAT dark soil, and I was less than 100 lbs. Yea - it was horrific - maybe cut a help inch at a time - on a half acre lot. Dad then got a WELL used mower that you had to wing the spring up first - still hard to go as a 7-10 year old, set the choke, and flip the switch that let the spring spin the engine.... I STILL don't miss those days.
Is it the mower or do sharp blades make a difference? If I was to sharpen the blades of some old Murray mower from the 90’s would it cut as well as that eco battery mower? What does mower deck design have to do with it?
hey just found your channel great stuff. I had a question if you can help me. I have the lawnboy 10739 model and can't find a side grass chute anywhere. I think the new model number of this is 17739. Not sure if you know anywhere i can get a side discharge grass chute for this awd lawnboy but i could sure use it. Ive looked on all the parts sites emailed can't find a match anywhere. Thanks for all your videos
would it help to go over the striped section with a smaller steam roller to get rid of the "bumps" and even it all out?? I know it was a "rush" before race day, but long term would this be a good idea??
I have a question regarding (here in Florida) how do you deal with oak saplings that grew up from the roots? Do you tarp the area or what is the best way to prevent them? Mind you the main oak tree itself shades quite heavily below it. Live in Minneola Florida
that's a tough one really. If it were me what I would do is just not try and grow grass under the oak and turn it into a large planting bed and put shade loving plants in there and let the lawn grow everywhere else
Mowing the FF with either one of those seems like torture 😂 Ol Cleet needs a machine with a bigger footprint. He used to get loaner JD mowers, those would be handy right about now
Allan, I have a Honda rotary gas mower, it's still growing strong and provides a good cut, but I'm more and more thinking of replacing it with one of the battery operated rotary mowers. Would I ever go back to gas after using battery? Thoughts?
Allyn, I"m in cool season territory. I installed sod patches last year. They rooted, came in great, blended in with my lawn, etc. But some of the sod patches don't look too good anymore. Full of yellow and brown, matted blades. Any idea of what's happening?
I want to get some of your Prodiamine. I have some seed for bare spots I want to put down. I pre soak my seed so it germinates in the pail versus the ground. If its germinated already can i put that down with the Prodiamine? Does it stunt it?
prodiamine would still stunt it. So just try and avoid the areas you are going to seed if you can. Maybe apply with a hand crank spreader that you can control a little better.
With the size of the inner freedom factory and its surrounding area im surprised they don't use a tractor drawn rotary unit. Obviously finish wouldn't be reel quality. But some really good tractor stuff now and time it would take would be so little
Placed my fertilizer and pre-emergents order last week got my e-mail from Yardmastery it’s on the way and will get it and will be throwing down this weekend.
16:34 guarantee that was the dually that brought the stage line trailer in loaded. Next time make sure they throw down a “plywood highway.” Normal procedure in the event world. Could have been where they had the generator parked also. Plywood highway, same thing.
I had a slight issue with my spreader calibration and put down around 5lbs per 1000 of Yard Mastery Prodiamine on about 2000sq ft of my lawn. Is this going to cause any issues?
I just put down bermuda seed after killing my lawn off from the mixture of grasses and weeds that it was, wish I could get a reel mower but they are just to expensive for me to afford.
Your reel mower needs to be adjusted does it cut paper reel and bed knife need to be maintained often. At golf course it was checked weekly. Sharpened yearly.
Doesn't hurt it. I worked for a school that used the same product on the football field. Not sure what's in it. Rain will wash it away but not real easily.
Talking about change, I recently read a short story called “who moved my cheese” and it’s a silly story that puts the perspectives of different reactions to change in a goofy way that is easier to digest and talk about. If anyone is struggling with something in life, may it be a relationship, work, or something else, I recommend reading that story. For me it made me accept that change occurred and that I need to move on.
Your trees are Bradford Pears. They're considered an invasive species of tree now. For people that can't or don't know how to access the average soil temperature, Forsythia blooms at the same time as crabgrass seeds begin to germinate.
Get with Terraplas North America and see about Cleet getting one of their turf protection systems. Purpose built to protect grass during events like that where a stage is on grass.
They are all day comfortable for sure. Here where I live these are the same boots the fisherman wear all day. That's how I've always known this style. As a yard shoe they work just as well.
@Thelawncarenut yeah I live about an hour north of you. I own my own lawn business and was looking at these just wasn't sure how comfortable they would be. Thanks for the info
Poor CitraZoy is taking forever to come back. When I laid some at my job it took a good 2 weeks to root. The stuff they laid at the freedom factory must have been shocked hard by the cold before they cut it and the cut itself, it'll come back tho.

Need to do a bit with Cleetus and JH. Dress up as cops, go take one of the vics, go arrest him.
Hey Alan, how do you like those kudjo waterproof boots? Are they comfortable all day? Holding up well?
Thanks for putting so much pride and work into making the place look like a million bucks. It really adds to the quality of the whole event
I was amazed to see the majority of the logo work wasn't actually stencilling, but hand spray painted wow!
The behind the scenes for the logo painting was really cool. I assumed that it was all stenciled but I didn't expect the stencil to be just the outlines. Watching the freehand filling of the colors was super satisfying.
I agree! I never knew how they did it so when I got the opportunity to work with these guys I was pretty stoked.
When someone has passion for what they do, anything can be made interesting and fun to watch...🤩
Thanks for make lawn care and watch grass grow.., exciting...🎉✨💖👍
I got to see the grass at the Freedom 500 and it was awesome! Keep up the great work!
Also love the “that’s 6 inches, that’s at least what I tell her “ 😂
above average
You guys did an amazing job! The grass at the event looked so good. The nitrogen applications really paid off. Such a huge difference!!
Alan you are rightfully proud of this beautiful result. Well done!❤

Amazing work..sure can tell you love what you do!! Pleasure watching what you have accomplished there
Great video. Love the Freedom Factory content!
Very nice work, it's really great to see the knowledge and experience you have in your industry. In can tell you have great passion in what you do.
Love the content bud! When you got involved in the freedom factory I started following and have enjoyed your videos and perspective! Keep up the great work!
thanks bro!
You will make it look good always a great show thanks again brother
Ayyy the lawn nut was in schererville, and yeah we had multiple 70 degree days then the temps dropped back down to low mid 40s
Loving the content all the way here at the Northern end of the Gold Coast Australia.

Love ya LCN
Them darn kids. lol at least they had fun and you made it look good in the process.
Looks like you were in Shereville. I'm close to there in Crown Point and yes the weather has been crazy here.
Yep, that one clip is downtown Schererville.
Wow I’m from there Highland Indiana I’m in Florida now!!!!!
I like the Fuel Maverick wheels on the Tundra Alan!
thank you! ironically, JH did my leveling kit and wheels and tires at his shop.
I see some sand in your future. Can’t wait to see this completely done
I love the music choices for the montages

I'm actually surprises your using walk behinds. Ride on would be ideal here! I know this is presentation of the products but ride on for the win!
I dont have the funds to get a big unit - maybe I'll get a sponsor to help out here eventually.
Is it the mower or do sharp blades make a difference? If I was to sharpen the blades of some old Murray mower from the 90’s would it cut as well as that eco battery mower? What does mower deck design have to do with it?
Dude I love this. Thanks for sharing God Bless....
What kind of grass would you recommend for a lawn that’s really wet and soft. We built are house in a hay field 🚗💨🦅🇺🇸
Was waiting for this update.

Bust out the time master!
Looks good. Great job!
I am interested in a sand leveling video. And maybe paint the drains green to blend them in.
Cleetus needs to install rumble curbs around the track.
Mowing the FF with either one of those seems like torture 😂 Ol Cleet needs a machine with a bigger footprint. He used to get loaner JD mowers, those would be handy right about now
I have a 60" ZT I use on the ST Aug but while the grass is still new I don't want the weight on it
I think they have a real mower attachment for zero turns
What if I invented a product similar in form factor to a manual rotary mower that grabs and pulls nutsesge in a single pass?
you need a golf course fw mower like conner ward, lot of turf there, looking good though
Allan, I have a Honda rotary gas mower, it's still growing strong and provides a good cut, but I'm more and more thinking of replacing it with one of the battery operated rotary mowers. Would I ever go back to gas after using battery?
Thoughts?
Yeah.. they make heads for riding or tow behind mowers that make stripes and each pass you just flip a switch for it to cut different.
Any suggestions on taming bahaia and poa? I've fought it for years.
Allyn, I"m in cool season territory. I installed sod patches last year. They rooted, came in great, blended in with my lawn, etc. But some of the sod patches don't look too good anymore. Full of yellow and brown, matted blades. Any idea of what's happening?
I've had a reel mower for more than 3 years and haven't used a rotary mower since despite having a walk behind and a zero turn.
The logo turned out great, but it looked to be a recipe for a sore back!
I want to get some of your Prodiamine. I have some seed for bare spots I want to put down. I pre soak my seed so it germinates in the pail versus the ground. If its germinated already can i put that down with the Prodiamine? Does it stunt it?

@@TheLawnCareNut Awesome thank you. Any website discount codes right now before I press buy?
Great video I love them all!
Thanks Vinny!

Do you have irrigation there?
Reel mowers are actually old school. The stripes are tips, or the back of the blade. Basically it's rolled towards you or away.
what height are you mowing Freedoms lawn? Did I miss that? I know you talked about the height adjustment.
I want one for the scarafier
It took me a little while to get use to the Toro TimeMaster.
It might sound stupid, but I'd like to see how you make the double wide stripes.
It’s 2 consecutive stripes going the same direction.
Same 😅
Side by side cuts in the same direction lol not rocket science
But didn't I already say, it might sound stupid???🤔🤣
@@rpturbo lol that you did
Driving on the grass... That's a paddlin!
No trial no nothing, right to jail.
Is the only reason to reel mow for stripes?
Placed my fertilizer and pre-emergents order last week got my e-mail from Yardmastery it’s on the way and will get it and will be throwing down this weekend.
what are these new weed like things with white small buds? Never seen them before....
16:34 guarantee that was the dually that brought the stage line trailer in loaded. Next time make sure they throw down a “plywood highway.” Normal procedure in the event world. Could have been where they had the generator parked also. Plywood highway, same thing.
Grass looks great. Why don't you use a riding mower?
I had a slight issue with my spreader calibration and put down around 5lbs per 1000 of Yard Mastery Prodiamine on about 2000sq ft of my lawn. Is this going to cause any issues?
you are just fine, no need to apply anymore this spring, you are covered.
I just put down bermuda seed after killing my lawn off from the mixture of grasses and weeds that it was, wish I could get a reel mower but they are just to expensive for me to afford.
Try it on citra blue at 2inches. That would be amazing
Will you be doing work at Cleetus’s new airport? 50+ acres of amazing and perfect grass runway!
going to be a fun challenge!
Your reel mower needs to be adjusted does it cut paper reel and bed knife need to be maintained often. At golf course it was checked weekly. Sharpened yearly.
Looks like those sprinklers need adjusting. A lot of water waste there. One of my pet peeves. RGS on the zoysia next?
Those Kugo Surge shoes look great. Especially for the early morning "throw er down" trips or a little dewy cut. Wet shoes suck!
07:45 @MattsOffRoadRecovery, you're famous! 😆
😂
Love following you
Does paint affect the grass. It look like it was a thick coat. It look great on live stream.
Doesn't hurt it. I worked for a school that used the same product on the football field. Not sure what's in it. Rain will wash it away but not real easily.
Have you used sedgehammer?

good stuff Nolan. Thank you for sharing that 👍
My bad…. I won’t do it again until the next race…. I promise. 😂😂😂 @thelawncarenut
I've got my eye on you!!! 😂
Your trees are Bradford Pears. They're considered an invasive species of tree now. For people that can't or don't know how to access the average soil temperature, Forsythia blooms at the same time as crabgrass seeds begin to germinate.
Paint that drain green once the grass comes in and going strong.
That wire you picked up at the beginning looks like the wire missing from cleetus truck
Get with Terraplas North America and see about Cleet getting one of their turf protection systems. Purpose built to protect grass during events like that where a stage is on grass.
Allyn… do you need to roll the sod to help the sod lay “smooth” with time?
we rolled it when it was installed but that was it. From here we need to get rid of the bumps by spreading sand.
Great job on the grass.
One major failure, WE HEARD A PUPPY AND DIDN'T GET TO SEE IT!
good ears! He gets in some videos here and there.
Hey Alan, how do you like those kudjo waterproof boots? Are they comfortable all day? Holding up well?
They are all day comfortable for sure. Here where I live these are the same boots the fisherman wear all day. That's how I've always known this style. As a yard shoe they work just as well.
@Thelawncarenut yeah I live about an hour north of you. I own my own lawn business and was looking at these just wasn't sure how comfortable they would be. Thanks for the info
You push mow all that? Or just cause its newer laid sod?
just because it's new.
You guys should make the mounds of dirt under the lights into little flower beds
Might survive. Might not lol
Laid on both of the grasses I tried to lay where the logo was at and the security guarding the helicopter kept yelling at us to get off the grass
How did it look from the stands? That is what the fans see
Great content.
thank you!
YOUR DONE JH! lol
Nice Wobbly Dobbs.

Looks like the Freedom Factory got a little too free with those stripes! 🌱🚜
It would be cool if you or cleets coukd get toro to get a demo on thir reel mowers
Wouldn’t that have been something if the grass clippings did something to the intake on that bird
You should’ve treated for the nuts edge before you mowed it
We call Reel mowers Cylinder mowers here in Aus
Will robot mowers cope with the debris?
Jeff Jeff left his home in Tucson Arizona for some Colorado grass😅
19:41 I see what you did there
