    WOW! She just lights up in the True Autumn colors! That yellow is amazing on her!

    yes she really looks like a true autumn:) for me it's easy to see how others fit into their pallet, but for myself it was a bit tricky, though I think I'm in the muted category. For me some of the features that indicate I'm a muted, is the fact my lips have not much colour (kind of peachy-grey colour) as well as my hair being dark brown with an ashy quality to it, though there are hints of copper/purple reflection to it. My eyes I would say are a swampy lake colour and are hazel.. and I like myself in charcoal colour:) and brown (not too yellow) looks good on me too

    Omg, you might've just given me a clue! I'm so confused because initially I thought i was true deep, then went to winter, then back to autumn, testing colors on myself!

    "Colour analysis is a facelift without the surgery", wow, what a quote, and how true, love that! Interesting, as my colour analyst years ago said I was a deep and neutural and she had to do further tests as not obvious if I was veering warm or cool, winter or autumn. The warmer dark autumn in fact proved better and have worn since. I had another one done (original analyst retired) as got lighter hair and softened eyes with age, told warm autumn, but feel too hot in the colours. If you are saying deep and slightly warm is neutral, do we generally fade to soft autumn, which I believe is also neutral warm, or just go for the lighter deep autumn colours, the very deep ones feel too dark and draining now. I have tried cool colours, they still do not work.

    Ok two things- would you consider adding more photos during the explanation, like when you are talking about lifting the jawline? Second, are her lips a cool shade? I think that made it tricky for me to tell because the autumn palette was beautiful on her, but the before pic seems like she might be cool because of her lip color.

    I've been analyzed so many times and the only season I rarely receive is Summer. No muted tones for me. I do find your system interesting,. It's not as limiting. As an adult I normally get Bright, cool, and deep, or a toss up between Clear Winter and Spring. How I look in green usually throws them off. I can wear almost every shade of green, even lime and Chartreuse. I even like odd shades like deep Pumpkin orange!

    I wonder how she looks in black. I’m guessing it would be too heavy since black is a Winter color. Which is interesting to think about because her eyes and hair are so dark. If you’ve ever heard of Zyla colors, the color of the outer ring of your eyes is your darkest neutral. So you would think that black would work on her because the outer rings of her eyes is probably black. I agree with Carol that she has a fully warm skin undertone and not a neutral warm, neutral, or neutral cool skin undertone. So black would not be her best neutral. So interesting to think about the differences between systems.

    Why does she look heavy in deep autumn if it's right next her sub season or part of her overall season? Shouldn't she look reasonably ok in it even if winter is too far off?

      If I understand correctly, in the system Carol uses a true season is a palette all its own, and there are no sister seasons. So, true autumn is NOT synonymous with warm autumn, nor is it the palette given to someone who looks equally good in soft, deep, and warm autumn. She probably would look good in deep autumn since it’s close, but true autumn would still be better. 🙂

      @@Me-xo5tw 22 I believe, plus a universal palette, which she’s mentioned, but Idk if she’s typed anyone there.
      -12 seasons (bright spring, light spring, warm spring, warm autumn, deep autumn, muted autumn, muted summer, light summer, cool summer, cool winter, deep winter, and bright winter)
      -4 true seasons (true spring, true autumn, true summer, and true winter)
      -6 true neutral palettes (true bright, true light, true warm, true deep, true muted, and true cool)

    In the UK we call this a Soft Autumn ..

    • @kellyann3832
      @kellyann3832 5 месяцев назад +6

      That's not true because , soft Autumn (muted Autumn) is between Autumn and Summer so would have a lot of summer influence ! True Autumn does not 😊 I'm from the UK too

    • @Me-xo5tw

      It has nothing to do with where in the world you are, it has to do with the colour analysis system that is used.
      There are many different systems and even when 2 systems use the same name for a colour palette, the colours within the palette may vary 😊

    • @soulexplorer76
      @soulexplorer76 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@Me-xo5tw There are colour analysis systems that do not differentiate between True Autumn and Warm Autumn, they use either name for the same colour palette, the same for True Summer and Cool Summer and so on. The system that Carol uses has the True seasons separate from any sub-seasons so there is a True Autumn that differs slightly from the Warm Autumn 😊

      We don’t- i’m in the UK.. this is the 16 season system.. you have true autumn (very autumn i guess), warm autumn (springy autumn), muted autumn (summery autumn) and deep autumn (wintry autumn).. the descriptions are just how i think of them, which i think makes sense..
