Funny looking F&P unit as it isn't one. That is a Samsung motor. Look at the rotor which has the info printed on it. It should say NewMotech Co Ltd on that label. Should be a 310 Volt unit. Might be a Model 1500 or Model 2000 and designed for 1400 RPM.
So this was a bad chinese turbine? Are there any decent 200dollar/euro models available anywhere? I have wind, our electricity prices have skyrocketed, im not poor but not middle class either. I need to reduce my costs. SO wind would help me a lot, getting rid of a little parasitic drains everywhere.
There are actually are good cheap little Chinese turbines, the reason why I've stopped playing with them is because you can get five turbines from different sellers that all look identical but perform differently. You can't tell what you're getting before you buy it. Some of them actually work really well for the money invested, most of them are pretty poor.
@@ToysforWatts might just have to save up a little more for an I-2000 or something then. A i2000 or heli 2.0 is a safer bet you think? I already built two solar systems, 2600wp and 2000wp. Problem is they both face south and south-east. Peaks overlap a little bit, so im still buying expensive Kwh's at night/evening for almost 0.70EUR, or 0.75USD. Fcking Ukraine war..
It's possible, and others have done it, but it requires additional equipment. The only buck down converters I've seen that would actually handle the job were pretty pricey.
this idea and how it fits is just unbelievably great! ;) keep going :)
I think it will start up just fine, I can't wait to see the output.

would it not be easier to transform the voltage down as it will increase the current quadruple times?
