    Awesome man thanks so much for this. The vid I've seen of a guy who used this for a water turbine said it averaged around 300-500 watts, with around 800-900w on its max! Would be interesting to see the test results of this one. Great job👍

    one good thing with your dual design is you can double the voltage by joining two rectifiers like you would with two batteries if desired.

    Man I love this stuff. What the idea behind burning the end of the cable? Maybe there are more videos explaining that but just thought I would ask

      @GavinFreedomLover  7 дней назад

      Not sure what you mean , sometimes you burn the cable to solder it a bit further down than the end.

    now i get it, the fisher and paykels are wired opposite, in a clockwise direction, i like the hacksaw trick. hey maybe its like the simpsons in the episode showing the water in the toilet and sink plug holes spins in a different direction in the southern hemisphere LOL. i just wired in the same direction as the factory did but now im wondering which direction do those washing machines rotate in your part of the world.

      I think some of them spin both ways now , a sign of the times perhaps 😃

      @@GavinFreedomLover Any ideas regarding how to differentiate between the two? Perhaps by something on the stator block? Also, for your duel stator/rotor set-up (with them facing opposite directions, wouldn't you need to turn one stator over (or have an identical one; but, wired to have the rotor spin in the opposite direction), to compensate for the differences in how they've been wired? I've currently only seen pictures of the stators (I have 1 waiting for me to pull it out of a scrap machine, once the weather quits breaking record lows; and, a couple more coming from ebay sellers, which will probably be here by this time next week); but, I'm guessing that you're saying the coils are wound opposite on some models of washers. [AKA: What would be "coil 1" would be "coil 36" on the other.] Is that accurate; or, are we getting off into "left handed monkey wrench" territory?
      I hadn't considered a "duel motor" before; and, this is the 1st I've heard about some of these motors being wired differently than others... Interesting concept, though; and, I'm looking forward to see how it turns out. :)

    I also have a used washing machine and I turn it at low rpm it only comes out 70volt AC and I'm confused to use it

    After it is rewound and you have the 3 phases, how do you determine which of the three is 1, 2 or 3 ? Stupid question I know, but I'm new to all this.

    Wouldnt it be nice, if the coils fit on the ring with dovetails or something, so it could be removed and wound if needed,

    • @GavinFreedomLover
      @GavinFreedomLover  3 года назад +1

      Yes that would be just tidying it all up now taken a few hours to both but worth it and won't take as long next time.

    Anyone here knows where the best place to buy copper wire in the US?
    I don’t have confidence to buy from Alibaba.

      These ones were made out of copper. Do not buy the status with aluminium wire in look for the copper ones

      Yes, even if you do get a motor you may find it is the aluminium wire version which is a lot harder to work with
