The most effective use for this character I learned through experience is that you wait for the ZPG to charge and just stay back then when ZPG is ready it will do 250 damage if it's a direct hit.
You can do that with any soldiers
Zack, you gotta remember that the only reason why you can actually see the icons is because the other players see those plants. Scuba Soldier would work best in a game with a low number of players, as it would be harder to find them.

Quest "Build 15 Zombot Turrets" can be easily done by playing Gardens and Graveyards as Emgineer, because building turrents near teleporter counts.

I love this Soldier because of the damage the Sonar Shot does and that his helmet reminds me of BioShock.
I watched some other gameplay videos about this character and is pretty much OP IMO
Point his gun ahead of foes. his wall tracking will come in handy! also find as much cover. you need to reload constantly. good luck!

I love the scuba soldier's shots!
the scuba zombie is a support type zombie that can help your team mates see enemies through walls and I rather stay far and medium range if the plants are too close to you shoot them with the sonar shot so your team mates can see your nemesis.
I’m watching this in 2023, almost 2024 and this still brings me joy, and brings me back to my childhood

FYI, the sonar shot highlights the player in that green glow so you can track their position.

Zack here is a scuba tip. Try getting into close range and hit every shot on target. That way you can kill most classes in 1 mag

At 32:26 the citron had the hat that was inside the chest which needs 200 stars to unlock
the gun once did 56 damage when I used it and other times 3, it a matter of where you hit that makes him good or bad.

One thing I dislike about the rose is that slowness thing, it lasts too long and then they hit you with the goatify. IMO, if you wee hit with the goatify, it would replace the slowness and not work together.

I have to agree that the ability to spot a single enemy so you can see them through walls appears to be the most pointless perk in a game that shows you where all your enemies are anyway. IDGI

I like the concept of the scuba soldier but I think that they need to buff it so it either one, has three shots, or two, reload faster, then it would be good.
Zack, go on the portal and select solo play and then go on crazy settings and activate zero gravity an super knockback it's so fun.

the scuba solider is unique because his torpedoes reveal any plant in the area around where the sonar landed
When I first died by a scuba soldier, I thought "do his bullets hurt you if you stand in the sonar radius?" Now I'm disappointed ;(

The closer a plant is to the radar, the stronger the sonar shot is

When you shoot a plant, they become green through walls like teammates in garden/graveyard ops. Example at 5:40-5:50
Even though there are icons that show up I think it's still pretty useful because icons don't show how NEAR they are 🤔
scuba zombie is a last ditch effort to just go in there an Yolo it with the multi missiles an high damage shots
The sonar helps because you see the icon but not now far/close they are the sonar shows you if there closer they look bigger rather smaller
when the bullet hits the ground , a solar radar appeared, plant walk by can bee seen through walls 4 a few sec
Also one of the reason he's had is because he needs to rank him up to get ammo and reload upgrades

THE SONAR SHOT LETS YOU SEE THEM THROUGH WALLS IF YOU HIT THEM
the sonar shot does this: first you hit a plant then if the plant goes behind a wall then it shows the plant green
to use this you tag (hit) a plant then you see them throught walls
With the scuba soldier u need to snipe not go after and run towards other players. That’s why you died so much.
